i searched high and low for punch out...i can't find it...like at all...
where did you get it? i really want one...haha
sorry, out of topic...
but anyway, topic related... spent quite little time with GST as i just got it and it was late at night and i have my finals and thesis to work on...maybe next time i'll...play it...haha(it's getting quite good reviews so far)
still, not as good as golf...but i really don't like golf...so, yea
i know online price is about: RM85~90
in stores, it varies, concerning the region you purchase it
US - the range is between RM 125~135 (so far)
JAP is RM110
some people claimed that the JAP model is available from RM88~RM90, but i never saw any so far (maybe out of stock, haha)
still, i managed to purchase mine at RM100 each for one US version and one JAP version that makes it rm 200 + a bonus free GST, i'm quite happy with my purchase to be honest...XD

any ideas why is my wii keep on disconnecting when it just entered the GST tennis field (where after all the searching for opponents, retrieving game data is done)?

ramz, games in malaysia in comparison to the US...its like a ripoff to most wallets, even if you are working (unfortunately, i'm still a student)
most games are priced within a RM120 (those quite crappy games) till RM200 price tag (more fun, well known games) ...which is quite insane...maybe its just me, but you get my point i guess
anyway, i think i know about the way (maybe) to decrease the load times, but...i don't really wanna go change much stuff with my wii or games that i've "purchsed"...just enjoy it as if it is, and if online is not available for it, i'm fine...=)
another thing is, original games don't come fast enough to be played like within the same week...you are considered lucky if you ever are able to find the latest available version of (insert game name here) in stores like the month after its release in the states...if it ever reaches m'sia that is...XD
the only online game i can play thus far from CD is conduit SSBB and GST i have problems with it...dunno why~
i ddin't try any other online features of other games i have...still busy working through other games in my...collection...haha
anyway, i do understand your support original mentality...i don't blame you about it...it's great and i am happy that you are helping out the game industry as well...=)

i think that most people pirate in malaysia is due to 2 reasons,
1. the price 2. the delay of games
on which influence which, is not for us to know i guess
1. price The price in my opinion is currently very unfair to the malaysian audience as it cost at around RM120 till RM180 for a wii game no matter how high and low you search, you will find the prices within this range, and of course, a cheaper price means that the games suck
let's see how the US market reacts to a USD40~USD60 game
well, 1st of all, they are earning USD in their country, hence, it kinda...reflects a more justified cost in their lives in malaysia, we are paying them, like around 3x the price (even if the US have price cuts for the same game you wanted to buy, you still buy at the original price x3), and also the additional extra cost included...which makes a USD40 game turns into around a RM 150 game now, this would not reflect a more "enjoyable" experience i guess as you are paying through your nose for the game, and of course, that doesn't give one the reason to pirate
still, a better measure was done in the PC section lately where they released a Malaysianized version of the game (which makes it original of course) at a lower price than what is "imported" these malaysianized version plays just like the original (coz it is), and the price ranges from RM30 till RM80, while an imported version ranges between RM120 till RM180, i guess you guys know about this right? so, anyway, i myself have purchased those original games myself as usually a pirated CD would cost around RM30, while an original cost like RM70~80 another additional RM40 or so doesn't hurt that much, right?and you get online features~
of course, if you purchase the original makes you treasure the game more comparing to a copy of it, and i guess you know what i meant here...=)
2.The delay of games like you've said, the game released in malaysia is slow as snail so, most would resort to pirated version of games as it arrives like at around a 1 week period (sometimes days after), or 1 month period latest how can the original version beat that pace in malaysia?

in GST, i've played it till the 3rd year with the AI, and i really wonder how many years are there in the game...>.<", it gets old after the 3rd year (where you unlocked every skills and attires, and also obtained a full 5 star rank)...and the game doesn't do anything else except...puts you in the fourth round to replay the whole course again...
also, i managed to beat most of the AI with just 2 to 4 strokes (where my avatar whacks the ball only) and i won the match/championship...XD
