there's a new Nike ad featuring top EPL stars from both clubs to be aired early next week... heard this from a friend of mine who works at a private TV station...

supposed to be damn gempak!

The ad is trying to show how the EPL is dominated by foreigners, 'cause there aren't any English players on show!

English players? Well, get some of them to sign with Nike and maybe they will be featured! Another requirement, they must play for Arsenal or Man Utd!

Another thing if you guys noticed, it's outdated! Look at MU's kit, it's with the white EPL badge. They've been wearing the same kit with the gold badges all season, thus making this ad made before summer of 2008 even.

thing is.. cesc wasn't made captain till last november. he's wearing the armband in the ad. unless its just for show..

The blue kit u mean? It is this season's third kit IIRC. So the video was quite recent i believe...

And there is no Rooney, probably means he was injured at that point of shooting the video..

Ah forgot about Rooney being English and a Utd player to boot! My bad!

Also, I know it's this season's 3rd kit, I was talking about the fact that they are wearing that kit with WHITE NORMAL EPL badges as opposed to them wearing this kit with GOLD CHAMPS EPL badges this season. And, kits are more often than not prepared and designed way before any current season ends.
