Some how I think our market has reached the bottom sometimes in Oct or Nov 08.
How good it could move up from here depends the effectiveness of global stimulus packages.
Till to date, as usual more on talking and still talking, and shorts of real aggressive actions by the so called Big Economies.
And our second --- is tied to to the UMNO election soon.
Just my 2sen opinion.

QUOTE(lklatmy @ Feb 16 2009, 02:18 PM) Pre-opening afternoon session will be delayed until further notice. Bursa is always very strict on brokers, so called by laws. But , they themselves, never mind lah.

QUOTE(chyaw @ Feb 20 2009, 07:57 AM) Hi Iklatmy, Thanks for the reply! My personal opinion is the principal official got minimum stock in hand. So, the chances they intent to sell the shares is low (if the company perform badly, the losses for them in shares also not significant). Therefore, I think most likely they intend to buy in a lot of shares (current price is very low based on my FA). Any other opinion? Maybe can catch a good deal! Ya, these high ranking officers could be fired for selling 40, 000 shares ( worth rm 32,400 ) during the closed period, unless they want to go into real confrontation with the major shareholders. Getting a new highly paid job is not that easy in today environment. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Feb 20 2009, 08:40 AM

Genting- still a lot of FF stuck with this stock, due to high FF % holding previously.
They sell whenever the price is right, or market turns bad.
Write off of UK casino could be high too , another 300m as previous Q ?
Buy only if for super long term.
Just my 2sen opinion.

QUOTE(chyaw @ Feb 20 2009, 03:44 PM) I believe the process is quite similar. As I stated in one of my previous post, Coca Cola unlikely to setup its own facilities here due to time constraint. Unless Coca Cola buy a facilities from others. My guess is Coca Cola already found a substitute before ditching F&N. And since Carlsberg also trying to conserve cash for potential oppurtunity, it may just click together... Everyone, don't take my word for real! I'm just sharing my wildest guess. Personally, I'm doing some research on F&N and Carlsberg (just in case my guess is right) BTW, I never buy 4D before. Maybe I should try Added on February 20, 2009, 3:47 pmThis could be a good product! Beer coke! Well, Calberg had successful tested the under " one roof " concept in one of the countries. For Malaysia, could be a diff version bocs of the halal thing. Do not know whether involving cola cola, but there is a real potential for Calsberg. Joke aside. QUOTE(aoisky @ Feb 20 2009, 04:48 PM) its totally different thought brother, Supermarket doesn't produce those drink they buy from producer and sale meanwhile carlsberg is the producer of the drinks. So do your muslim friends they come to your house can they eat your meal that is prepare for them? your wok already used to cooked non-halal meal all the while. just my 2 cent, no offense Well, a separate company could be set up for that. I do not think Malaysia produces Cola Cola fresh from raw materials. It is imported ( finished goods ) and canned here. More importantly is the distribution channel. Of course, politicians do not know some cola cola shareholders are muslims. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Feb 20 2009, 04:57 PM

Just wondering US is doing a fair job to the world.
Their CEOs all the while getting very attractive pay packages, and yet doing shit jobs.
They could not solve the problem like Lehman ( the consequences of closing ). Then, they should not allow it to close at all.
Where are the financial experts in US ?
