Hopefully there is be rally at USA after Obama sign the Stimulus Plan smile.gif. I lost too much blood for 2 days already
*
i dun understand how people could summarise "Stimulus Plan = market up". Every stimulus plan will need time for market to study whether it is sufficient enough or not. Stimulus plan doesnt mean the US will throw USD787million straight away into the economy. It is just a plan on how to address the issue.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Feb 17 2009, 11:25 PM)
i just finished reading the star newspaper, read about this article too.

i did monitor this counter these few days, its share has been plunged since the recent peak isn't.

this piece of news is today's news, but it doesnt stimulate the price to jump. maybe as per the newspaper claimed, can get some before end of next month, buy on rumour, sell on news.  rolleyes.gif
*
If you listen to those so-called analysts of The Star, then you deserved to get your hands burnt. Look at the company's balance sheet first. Then look at the profit & loss reports. Green Packet announced to Bursa yesterday a net loss of RM38.66mil on revenue of RM25.47mil for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2008 compared with a net profit of RM231,000 on revenue of RM26.46mil in the previous corresponding period. Green Packet also posted an annual net loss of RM59.48mil on revenue of RM88.43mil for the last financial year..

Looking at current condition, its not impossible for DJIA to drop below 5000pts.  Its a economic plague now.  The next level of bad news may be credit card default rate.  As ppl had a hard time to pay off their homeloan, credit card would be the only option left.  sad.gif
*
Frankly speaking, i dun think the DJIA will go as low as 5000. It will or it might breach the 6500 level, the hardest question here is - how long will it remains in the doldrums.

what does a "purple" color means? (circled)

user posted image
*
purple is off-market deal.
Example - married deal which involves no brokerage commission being charged. It doesnt go through the KLSE queuing system. Both the seller and buyer must agree to cross the shares to be transacted. It is purple for recording purpose only.

40%? u mean it's gonna be around RM3.xx?  hmm.gif
if they issue more shares.... meaning the par value is going to reduce also rite?
*
the par value will not be affected. It will remain the same. Only the number of shares will increase.
I dont like this move actually. If a company is financially sound and healthy, why should the company asking the public for fund?!

yup, technically recession is define as two consecutive quarter of reduction in GDP.  So maybe najis is playing with the nos altho the actual 4th quarter GDP already at -0.1%.  So technically speaking, if the next Q is also in negative (which i think most probably will), then msia is officially in recession.  wink.gif He try to buy some time.  rolleyes.gif

tell u guys. Najib's speech is nothing. He is neither a magician nor financial expert who can make the market u-turn, although he can make u disappear..
KLSE will continue to trade downward in tandem with world economy.
There's no cure yet for the economy atm.. Economists(including me.. ahem..) still could not see the bottom is where..

haha... sorry to burst the bubble.

i still dont see any positive measures yet with those Umnoputras around waiting in queue to rob and plunder.
Only a change in govt at least can offer a silver lining.

60b stimulus plan fail ?
*
told ya, 60B plan failed miserably.

If those money cannot channeled directly to the rakyat, then the stimulus package is considered - FAILED!
Ask the rakyat, did the stimulus plan will improve their living.
At least the govt should consider tax cuts and reduction in utility bills like electricity, phone bill...
