Sellers fatique on scomi, after a wave of selling, for the past week, sellers have subsided for now.
With some good timing from the Economic plan and a technical rally on the Dow, seems like it has good potential to fly. |

QUOTE(chyaw @ Mar 3 2009, 04:18 PM) You think scomi can do well??? I thought this share is very much related to our retiring vip. Still can do well after march? I really don't know how strong the company is (minus out all the political deals)... A lot of people think Scomi's strength is related only to Badawi, but if you really look at their revenues, 80% of it came from overseas. And out of them, a lot are from reputable companies, their latest wins with BP and Mumbai monorail is a testament to their ability. Their fundamental is there, their 4th Quarter in 08 is actually better than 07's 4th Quarter. YOY 08's operational profit is -0.4?% below 07's Add a bit of political farewell presents, all in all, that's pretty good aint it? This post has been edited by eltaria: Mar 3 2009, 04:24 PM |

China should be the one to lead us into recovery?
Their economic rescue plan seems to be working remarkably well until now. Hope they can sustain it until the US picks up as well. |

Zelan, pretty sick...
It only takes one such stocks to free fall in your portfolio to wipe off your capital.... Anyone stuck with it? 25% loss dee... would need to gain 50% to break even This post has been edited by eltaria: Mar 5 2009, 04:15 PM |

I'm not too optimistic on LCL, as i mentioned last time, for the past 4/5 years, their cash flow is not comprehensible by my little head.
I don't have the numbers dee as I dumped my lcl already and it's past tense to me, but overall when I was crunching their 4/5 years or AR, their cashflow hit me bulleyes in the heart. I'd worry if they can even turnaround. More or less post a good profit and their share price rising again. |

"RM 10 Billion for equities....."
Can someone tell me what they'll plan to do with this money? buying shares via valuecaps? I don't really agree with this, aren't putting money for infrastructure investment a better idea? For example, instead of using 1 billion to buy gamuda shares, i can use the 1 billion to extend the LRT, which will benefit the listed companies through the awards of projects? It's like giving a fish, and teaching them to fish. |

Scomi still manage to keep itself floating around 0.3.. but don't know for how long. ABP 0.33, it'll possibly retest the 0.295 line soon.
Zelan going to lose almost 50% of its value soon.. crazy drop. In light of this recent turn of events, how are you all adjusting your portfolio? Buy and hold? Swing traders will have probably cut lost a week ago? Cut loss good idea? it's a pretty deep drop already, if CL now, and it turns around..... that'll be pretty bad Contra long traders no need to say, dig big big grave already if didn't cut loss in time... Anyone actively managing their portfolios? What're you guys doing now? This post has been edited by eltaria: Mar 12 2009, 09:48 AM |

too bad oil didn't hit the magic 50.
Else, OnG counters will get a big boost. 49.xx is not as good as 50 Even though it's just 50 cents difference, the logical impact to ppl's mind is like there's a 10 bucks difference |

QUOTE(elhh82 @ Mar 18 2009, 09:16 AM) if you look at resorts, theres like 3-4 sellers and hundreds of buyers. big guys selling down to the small guys. Hi Hi,How do you find this information? Can give a screenshot of this section, what column is this named? From what I'm seeing the buy to sell transaction ration is 4 : 1 but this is the transacted 'transactions' You're talking about the ongoing transactions buyers and sellers in the buy and sell Q? |

HLB's the activex one... so yeah, I guess doesn't have.
I've been wondering where you all get the information, pretty good piece of information to have around. Would have an effect on my decision to buy or sell. Only got the Bought and Sold Transaction # This post has been edited by eltaria: Mar 18 2009, 09:58 AM |
