Hi all,

My newly planted (2 weeks) philipine grass also have some gaps. My contractor planted the grass very closely last time. I'm also seeing that some parts of the grass+root are sticking out of the soil. Im guessing this is because some loose soil has been washed away by rain.

Should I patch the gaps with new grass? The part where the grass and roots are sticking out, I'm thinking I need to put either new soil or sand.. which is better?

Just let your grass grow itself, they will fill the gap by time, for the first week after lay down the grass, the fella told me have to siram 3 times per day so that they can full grow and the akar will ikat on the soil. Btw, from your photp, your contract didnt lay a layer of sand above the soild before laydown the grass?
