You do not need to get into that much of hassle actually. Use NSS, get your phone connected & there is already an option to reset the phone lock at just a press of a button

Erm? I did not have any problem unlocking N82 using NSS before. Can your NSS detect your phone? There shouldn't be any problem for N82 to be used with NSS

connect your phone 1st & select PC Suite mode. Once it is complete, only then you open your NSS & scan for your phone.

oh, which means your phone is not completely boot up? If like that you can't use this software. Only way is to find the sim card which you have used earlier where the phone does not request for the security code. Use that & then once you have successfully boot up your phone, then use this software.

Erm, if I am not mistaken phone lock works this way (at least for Nokia).

When you enter a sim card for the 1st time into a phone which is phone lock enabled, it will request for the security code. Once you have entered the code & successfully boot up the phone, it does not ask anymore until you insert a different sim card.

Please correct me if I am wrong...
