First time is not an excuse when the comms go out and promote it like it's the most awesome thing to happen. I came a bit too early [2.30 ish] and the event isnt even in full swing. I was honestly expecting at least takoyaki, even then I'd forgive the lack of it. You promo and hype it up for weeks, wooing outside people to come on a WEEKDAY. You know I actually got lost trying to find you?
I went to UCSI near the Giant there. I went in, didn't see a single promo banner/bunting until I went wayyyyy further into the building, and it says 'North Wing'. I ask one of the guys where the north wing is, and I was told to take a bus. The least you couldve done to prevent this is to have a banner up front where it's OBVIOUS for first time visitors.
First time is not an excuse when you are doing something and expect outsiders to enjoy it. If you're doing something for the first time, do it for your own students first. Learn the ropes, learn the right things to do, the wrong things to avoid, and what mishaps may happen. Then only you can go out and promote off campus.
First time is not an excuse when you say the event starts at 1pm, and even by 3pm your event isn't in full swing yet. I went there expecting to spend some time and cash on lunch. Do you know how disappointed I was to see canned drinks and pre-packed Ramly burgers, on a JAPANESE THEMED EVENT?
Also, your exhibits have teribel engrish. You call yourselves an INTERNATIONAL university, the least you could do is some spell checking/grammar edits on your copywriting. And for heavens' sake, it's not pronounced Boon Kar Sai.
I understand you're trying to bring yourselves up in the scene, but even when you realize that you don't have much of a foundation on how to do things, you should know better than trying to impress outsiders with empty promises. I'm afraid your reputation is going to be scarred for a long time to come.
first time is not an excuse..i acceptable
but as u know..recently was a raining day
we trying to put a backup plan
when the rain started, we are trying to move our booth here n there
it spent us a lot of times
if u mean the UCSI in south wing no banner at outside
den soli to tell u tat our banner was hanged by our skool management
and since u noticed this event, in the any website or flyer or blabla..we got put our event website
if u dun check our website to find the location of event
soli..we dun have so much time to guide the visitor one by one
ok..tats our mistake tat should organize the event in our own university
suppose to be like tat
but sth is going wrong
so become like tis
soli to tell u tat 3pm was started the F and B
but for games was started on 6pm
followed our plan should be like tis
and we didnt mentioned that all the FnB is japanese
as i said..1st time event is hard to get the sponsor to cover our budget
so sounds funny for u all if we setup the booth like tat
but for our own student n other college
they still feel ok wif it
International skool doesnt mean perfect
ok..u ask some1 professional
any1...dun tell me a professional didnt make any mistake b4?
if they did a mistake..lets laugh together..ok?
soli to say tat..tats Bunkasai is pronounced to Boon Ka Sai
i dun feel any wrong wif tis words
if not..can u pronounce it to me?
i seriously want to learn it from the "mistake" we made
and plz do not think tat we are a "professional" workers
we r only a student
i feel soli to give a such failure to u all
tats our best we can do it anyway
