well c6 over x6 on some points are: the keyboard if u really need, memory card slot as a connection solution, not that dodgy flash support than x6...
no laggy image gallery issue like x6...

x6 over c6 is the wad capacitive screen, means better screen obviously...
better loudspeaker, carl zeiss lens, slimmer & lighter...

if good camera, clear winner is elm

the touch & type AND 3.5mm audiojack is elm lacks of

nokia c5? nokia 5230? nokia 5250?

5230/c5 got 3G HSDPA+gps
but 5230 is touchscreen hence bigger screen
but c5 got videocall camera

5250 got no gps & no 3g but got smart looking

x10 got 2.1 only but got some manual[haram] way to make it 2.2 & supports multitouch+flash, got better camera & hd video recording compare to GA..oso a better, bigger screen

1st hand rm500 smartphone with wifi is abit hard

5530 got wifi but no 3g
abit more than 500

samsung galaxy 5/csl mi300 spice/nokia c5-03 got wifi 3g, 600++

we, malaysia highest speed can achieve is 4mbps only if i not wrong...

Galaxy SL is a Galaxy S with S-LCD instead of Super AMOLED screen & in certain Asia area, Galaxy SL is only 4GB version
Super AMOLED is among the best screen to have, if you want get Galaxy S & doesn't mind AP phone & can save your wallet , you should consider Captivate/Vibrant
they are just the same as Galaxy S but is AP from foreign telcos like AT&T/T-Mobile, Captivate got a different design & no videocall camera, vibrant nothing different but price cheaper...

how much is your budget, you might be can get some dual core phones if u got like 2.5k [like Motorola Atrix]

well, i also not sure, cuz sometimes even its unlocked, i dunno how they got locked back [experienced by some forumers here]

as i see your budget, you can get..
htc desire ori, i found some selling 1.6k~1.7k
samsung p1000 galaxy tab, saw some 15xx, i think its AP
galaxy S 8GB/16gb (AP) 1.4~1.7k

so you no nid worry its from foreign telco & got locked this or that

galaxy tab got no amoled, but the screen is big & good enough for you to play games, surfing web...
htc desire got AMOLED/Super AMOLED, pretty confused by gsmarena spec sheets

wave is overall a good phone just that the OS which turns it into a not worthy phone
still need to grow further more, apps store not big etc.

N8 got that awesome Carls Zeiss lens, autofocus, xenon flash..
while E7 just a good business phone with qwerty
its camera is non CZ lens, fixed focus, dual led flash...

so you see, we got a clear winner here...

incredible S oso got AP now only so far

then buy nokia n8 for superb camera & a b&w phone for calling/sms, it can stay alive for a week then u charge them

budget?
usage like do you need the flash support for web browser? do you need videocall? etc.

if you got a SGA, smack it right towards ur fren head
SGA has spec-wise & looks alike with I3GS, furthermore its camera got flash, it got gorilla glass, its an android monsta which bite apples

other than that, acer liquid metal/se xperia x10 which priced abit more than SGA but is even better
Liquid metal got 2.2 with flash support, better screen resolution...just that the camera isnt good as for 5mp snapper

x10 is going to get 2.3 update soon though, hope it will be a big improvement for x10

depends what you want

iphone - trend/fanboy, love to play apps & play HD games, simple use & frenly OS
SGS - mod, widget, customization, web surfing with flash support etc. & much advanced OS [becoz u can do custom thingy]

i personally vote c6-01

but dunno y most go for c7 o.O

IS & DHD oso use SLCD

IS is more cheaper & more lighter & more newer as well~
DHD is big & bulky

that 1 i dunno

i just noe DHD is too giant sized & bulkier than IS/DS
exp & older as well

if u love mod/hack, get HD2
u can run Android, WP7, WM6.5, Ubuntu, Meego etc. with HD2! [go XDA-developers for more info]

if u just prefer stock android & need qwerty keyboard, milestone 2 is for u
