I am also curious about the HTC HD vs iPhone vs any other equivalent. I am looking for a device which can surf the internet well, because I will only choose to buy either a netbook or a smartphone (money issues) and I'm leaning towards the latter because my current phone is dying and I need to replace it too.

iPhone has one drawback, I can't type on a touch screen. Just can't do it.

Read some comments on xda-developers forum, pretty negative feedback on the HTC HD..... need some discussions and feedback please!
