QUOTE(pziv2 @ Oct 9 2010, 03:15 PM) No. take the SE Satio and N8 for example. Both have 12 MP cameras, but the N8 is clearly way better than the Satio. Or take the N86 vs the W995i. Both have 8MP cameras (in fact W995i has 8.1MP) but still the N86 is better. Or perhaps the N82 and the SE Vivaz Pro. they are not losing but it depends on what the purpose you getting the phone. In night mode, Nokia's camera quality is still better than SE. But to be honest, I don't really recommend Nokia or SE if you are planning to use this for like 2-3 years. At present both Nokia and SE is losing ground. In camera android still no fight at all only in OS and processing power . |

Do check out the photos taken by Nokia N8 as below and ask your friend to try to take something at least half of it
http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenokiagalle...57624928852359/ Satio = old symbian ^1 and lack of support from SE N8 = latest symbian ^ 3 OS Satio = No ovi support, camera not as sharp as Nokia N8 N8 = support OTG , AMOLED , HDMI output and so on use nokia tagline to assist you to make your decision ![]() Nokia N8 by thenokiagallery, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Nov 4 2010, 01:38 AM |

QUOTE(fenrir0402 @ Nov 15 2010, 05:19 PM) but somehow having a physical keyboard would prove an advantage and also x10 mini pro have higher clock speed right? you notice alot of ppl will critise everything they dont like. N8 got problem X10 got problem . Apple just focus on the UI everyone suddenly worship iphone. Just choose which you prefer i am not bias against brand but over worship it looks like fanboythere's a lot of critism against x10 mini pro too... |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Nov 17 2010, 03:11 PM) Thanks for the reply! u end up the same problem again lack of apps support and future firmware if u dont mind SEC905 is your best choice but remember Nokia N8 is the latest and supported by Nokia currently and alot new games and apps coming outI thought that a Singapore iPhone 4 16gb costs <rm2200? How's the photo quality on your HTC Desire? Not so good right? Photo qualities are important to me and recording videos as I travel overseas a lot so need to need to capture a lot For <rm1700 category, it's the Desire vs Nokia N8 but there is a clear winner here. What are the main issues with N8? It seems that I'll just stick to my SE C905 until a good smartphone comes out that can match N8's camera qualities. C905's photos are nice but the videos are just average and the sound quality is bad. |

QUOTE(Aurai @ Dec 17 2010, 03:11 PM) Thats why most of us ask u what do u want to do with your phone. 10 out of 8 people will compare specification sure unfair comparison. Nokia N8 was never design to go against specification but its camera and HD recording. You notice nobody take photography of android to compare with nokia N8? QUOTE(LightningFist @ Jan 6 2011, 09:01 PM) Appreciate your comments. Yes, iPhone 4 is impressive. But, pixel density may not be as important as screen size or resolution when it comes to app compatibility (I don't know, I'm half-asking). Nothing is perfect. If wan bigger screen and better qwerty get iPad like me now. I am typing this using iPad. I can type fast and accurateGSMArena has comments such as "small screen size means limited number of apps can be used" or "poor/low resolution means lack of app compatibility" and though there are plenty of Motorolas, Nokias, and iPhones with resolutions higher than the LG, running OSs other than Android, the main issue would be its 320x480. 129g I think is the weight, which is heavier than what I'm used to but worth the other specs. I couldn't care less about the crappy 3.2 MP camera, though I may have overused my old 2 MP camera at one point. Added on January 8, 2011, 1:05 amSome comments from reviews- - bad qwerty messaging - slow processor, gaming lag No flash, but apparently the youtube app works. I might buy it if I can test it out at a shop. |
