QUOTE(bibbyGirl @ Feb 15 2009, 03:00 AM) who care about emission in malaysia? we still have caburator kancil on production today tons of car running without any cat con. some purposely remove by car owner and nobody care in order for you to export the car outside malaysia, they all have to comply with the emission standard.

yeah, we know CPS still new and not that powerful enough for some people.. Proton should have just use E01 from Petronas instead of building their own Campro CPS... still its Malaysian made product. then i guess bibbyGirl will stop bragging and comparing it with b16a.. E01 is comparable or maybe even better than k20a.

have you guys ever think that Proton will still be able to reborn the legendary GTi if they fitted Petronas E01e (1.8L or 2L).. they did sign MOI with Petronas back in 2006. maybe a new monster will be born. 202bhp Satria Neo GTi anyone?

i dont think it will go beyond RM100K... that spot above 100k is reserved for future Lancer GT based Waja GT? lol..
anyway, i do hope that Proton will use E01 engine for their upcoming models..

yeah, E01e engine is just another kampung engine.. it was built by those kampung engineer boys with only F1 experience and knowledge.. only capable to churn out 204PS @ 7300rpm, 203Nm @ 5300rpm...

no doubt 1.8L power plant will be a better option for Exora. 2.0L E01 (200hp) is better for Satria Neo GTI compared to 1.6/1.8L CPS Turbocharged. and E01 can be fitted in most any car because of its design, so i think the new 2010 Waja Lancer (with GTI badge, replacement for Putra perhaps?) should be fitted with 2L E01. It will gives FD2R run for its money, even if it cost around RM100K (since 1.8L version will go for around RM60K and above)
