I know this may sound retarded, but i have a problem of buying games..sometimes just for the heck of it...
i read about games winning game of year awards or 90+/100 ratings that i simply cant help...but just want to have them to fortify my collection...
i think that i will finally have the time to sit down one day and have a good play but that never happens and yet continue to purchase

for the ps3 i have recently purchased MGS4, LBP, Burnout, Dead Space, Siren, FIFA09 and have not even played any of them for more than 10 mins
I will be getting Killzone 2 and SF4 later this month as well...

actually...u'll enjoy games if u restrict urself to buy ONE that u really want let's say in a month. If u're working n also hv other priorities, believe me..ONE good game will keep u occupied for a good length of time.

By the time u're finish...some good titles can be obtained via garage sales or the likes for a lesser price...and that game that u've played can be sold to cover the cost of the new game.

Unless of course u like to collect Special/Collector's Edition..now that's a diff story.

better watched Blu-Ray movies...

It the same happens to me too, bought games every month like crazy, I even bought Alone in the Dark for Ps3 last month even though knowing this game is crap. Luckily, I'm not broke for spending money on V'games

maybe after RE5 I will restrict myself buy one or two game(s) every month

I spent too much on BDs too, got around 140+, but only watched 30-40 onli, rest is still left in the shelf unopened.

Maybe u need a motivation. Join a discussion with others to talk about some of the game u have. After that, maybe u'll have a desire to play the game.

i only choose a few, check out the review,look for a good one and try to master the game..

download the demo and try out.. if not good, just ignore it..

that way u save on spending on games..

sometimes reading good reviews also will affect the way you buy games. but like myself, trying hard just to get a game a month/2 months.

the new sfiv is quite pricey, over rm200. i think it's the first xbox game i purchase (normal edition) that is over 200....

i hav my ps3 since july last year. games i have are msg4, assassin creed, naruto, dmc4, dragon ball z, and price of persia. i've not finish anyone of them. lolzz

dats why only buy when u finish a game then u will be true gamer not a game collector

the method won't really work for me because i find it hard to finish a game if i know i have nothing left waiting for me once i do. but if i know i got a hot game waiting for me, i will be all fired up to finish the current game !!!

So hard to concentrate on one game at a time these days

i think the TS shouldn't feel guilty because those titles he dy got but haven't played are all quality games so there's little chance that he would end up not playing them at all, it's just a matter of time. maybe you got something else better to play right now, like SFIV?

don't fret TS, playing games also must ikut musim..... it will all come in handy during the dry season.

don't worry TS, i know a guy like you also. buying all limited edition games and most of them are still sealed in package... if it is a hobby, then let it be unless you have financial crisis doing it.

i tried the PS2 version am i so so so dissapointed..

i loved the ps1 version, AITD, the new nightmare.. that was fun.. but for this ps2 and ps3 version.. is just toooo darn ugly.. and stupid

complete all medal on MGS
90++ hour on SC IV
finished unlocked all thing on POP
finshed gain all gyphy for HS

and now SF IV <3

But ofcourse im trying my best to finish the 10% of the games i owned

for me, i buy games at a much faster speed than i play.
i always tell myself i will find time in future to open and play those games that i bought but i don't think i will ever catch up :-)

i spent even more time on PC games (when younger).

i am also like that. i can't finish all the games i bought not because i am lazy but because i don't have enough time to play all the games i bought due to work! if i have free time like i had during my student days, i will be playing 24/7 already. some more this month got Killzone 2 and Demon Soul to buy. sigh...so many games and so little time to play........

I have a problem same as TS. So many games to complete with so liltle time(since bz working). Rite now still haven't finish mgs4 and just got my hands on LBP. I better finish mgs b4 KZ2 comes out. Or else, i would probably never finish the game at all.

Me also find no time to play games more often nowadays compared to student days..miss all those time la..now weekend only can concentrate to play

that's why I prefer games like FIFA 09 or NBA..got limited time per game to finish...one or two matches should be ok..

find 2nd hand games at the garage sales la bro many games are sold quite cheap,no need to spend alot for brand new games.

Got my PS3 2 weeks ago and I already have 7 games.
So far, I've finished only 1 game.

Working day -> can only play around 30 minutes - 1 hour.

Off day -> can play around 2 - 4 hours only.
