Painful after long listening? Does that mean the IEM itself is hurting you? or the sound coming from the IEM?

Guys I ran into this poll and somehow interested to the Koss KSC75 but I'm wearing glasses and it seems to me not that comfortable so i encountered the koss porta pro, how do you guys compare to them both? as I read alot of customer reviews on the amazon and i could see how amazing both headphone could be and I was thinking and glasses wearer or anyone who owns both and how do you compare the sound quality between them.

Hahaha as of today, I own both. Personally, I dun really like the ear clips type. But KSC75's clip is fine with me and my glasses. But I still prefer headband over clips. Comfort wise, its more of ur personal preference over headband vs clips. But wearing portapro close to wearing nth XD
sound wise, both of them ALMOST the same. But then again I only try stock ksc75 once only lol. My gf ksc75 still in wrappings. lol

satisfied with the sq. today i bring it to office and almost my office mates
bashing me for waste nearly rm 200 just for headphone. lol

i dont really care as long i m happy with it. KSC75 is cheaper than portapro
about rm 40 but personally i like headband better over ear clip.

Lol.. for those not into this hobby, spending more than 100-200 for a headphone is a waste. Good music only for those who appreciate it. smile.gif

They're 2 different headphones. 201 is circumaural, and the 202 is supraaural. You can get them in machines/switch,or jaben.

nah
i just recently into this headphone thingy and start to appreciate good sq of music thru headphone.
before i dont really care until i tried beats by dre owned by one of my close mates.
but i dont think i ready yet to spent around 1K over headphone.

my early choice beside portapro is dt231 (same price range) but after test it, for me dt231 are not so suitable
for outdoor activities and portable as portapro.

668, clear, neutral, spacious, can go very high and very low. Not overwhelming bass. Has a very good separation too when I tested with my friend's amp.

For further info, perhaps you can read those reviews I posted in my thread?

Either one will be wonderful headphones.. It's great knowing that either way you go, you're gonna get great bang for the buck. In fact, portapro is probably one of the oldest headphones still in the market..

Well, I guess the Chinese saying is true: "宝刀未老“, which literally translates to good sword is not old..

Lol

That's like saying, "I hope this car will run faster after, say, 10 hours, simply because it's a Nissan." ... =.="

Weird argument there..
