Lady ah, this item still not fully burn in mah...cable need to burn in at least a 400 hours till 1000hours to get the need...all brand new thing of course will harsh. anyway i will help u burn in lae till next week... Harsh is just because still new...60 hours burn-in is not enough to change the SQ.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

most of sony earphones are bassy enough (sometimes i cant stand the bass, too powerful, and as for philips, i do have some unknown model of philips earphone and headphones and i would say the bass is good enuff...

so verdict...
bassy go for sony....

Errr, just add rm10 and you'll get huge improvements in sound quality, somemore you'll use this earphone for a long time in the future (until it breaks). better invest rm10 more. Sayang your ears a bit mar, give it better sound nod.gif

For your case not sure, because the sony e818lp is an earphone while the soundmagic pl20 is a canalphone. Have you used a canalphone before? It isolates outside noise and goes into the ear so new user will feel uncomfortable at first. Canalphones usually have microphonics too.

just heard the ksd75 for a short while yesterday night.. stock..
sounds quite good.. sq wise i'd say my hd201 sucks compared to the koss.. a recommendable cheap headphone i'd say.. (my eterna pwns tongue.gif)
xcept taht i dont fancy having sp0nge clipped to me ears.. i just dont feel natural....

i already tested sony e10lp.earphone that cost rm39 laugh.gif
bass quite ok but u can enhanced it if u have good equalizer mp3 like sony.treble so good,(symbals sound can hear clearly. pss~peciss~ cool.gif )
i tested wit china brand mp3 only ;p sweat.gif

Hahah..HD201 actually not that bad for me...I find myself enjoying all my headphones now..Perhaps due to better appreciation for the musci I listen to and..Maybe better sources..hahah..SR60, HD555, AD700, KSC75 and HD201 all get some of ma luv~

base on ur budget actually it's a bit hard... u state ther u wan a headset does it mean u need one with a mic?
if u don't need mic try the cheapest philips available can't remember wat model...
or if u can stretch ur budget juz a little philips SHP2700 is really not bad...

great headphones for RM44 only.
serious bass without destroying the sound quality
suitable for bassheads like me
it sounded like Logitech Z2300 with better trebles

I think Philips SHP2700 and 2500 is not suitable for me la...
erm....yeap,better with mic because i can use skype as well...
i need it to use for my laptop so with mic is better than others...
