if you ask me, i say keep the 75-300... but that will seriously depends what you shoot
there is only one question - do you need 300mm?
300mm can let you shoot moon - soft? you are using F8 to F11, so nothing to worry about softness
300mm can let you "skodeng"

200mm to 300mm may seems small, but if there is a need and you don't have it... well, then you need to crop your 200mm to get a size of 300mm

but of course la, that is my personal opinion (that is why i still have my minolta 75-300mm)

i bet you got the twin kit lens wit ur body one shot... so trading wit the sigma one shud be a good deal for RM200 cos you didn't really get the SAL75300 with its original price... but then again... i'd choose what am i replacing it with 1st b4 making the trade....
oh yeah and another piece of advice... imho, i think u better save up for a flashgun 1st and play wit de kitlens 1st... maybe when you're really proficient with the cam... then pounce on new lenses... at least that's what i'm doing... (psst...it's difficult with all of them poisoning here and there)

Added on March 4, 2009, 3:50 pmabsolutely agree wit u bro... especially on the skodeng part...
at first i was eager with the skodeng, peeping and all. but when i start to take picture i realize that the extra 100mm on lens range is quite under utilize (for me la of coz). so i prefer if there's a lens range around 17-150mm(is there any lens like this?), that would be ideal for me. but 28-200mm is also around that range(correct me if i'm wrong), so i think i might try it for it.
and yeah, the 17-150mm range is also to avoid changing lens constantly.
For kit lens case, i think i'll use it for now. not until my fund is sufficient enough for a better lens. i'll save it for the extra wideness maybe. LOL
Thanks for all the advice guys!
