how much is the alpha vest worth arr? Can't wear mine (too small) and decided to sell it off.. It's still new.

r u referring to the one with multiple pockets for storage? I'm not talking about that one. the one i'm referring to is just the vest which u put on over your normal clothing. has a big alpha logo on it.

looks like the tammy is abit sharper on the overall.

ok.. the tip part of the flower is sharper on in the 2nd pic. However, the leaves in the first pic is sharper compared to the 2nd one. Focus on wrong part perhaps?

that's like 1/3 of my available budget for a month already.. lol

if you don't have a flash, i'd suggest to get that first instead of getting another lens. Kit lens with flash can do wonders.

after that, you can think about getting fast lenses better low light performance, especially in places where flash is not allowed.

if sony does make the 50mm 1.7 and price it competitvely, the old minoltas will definitely lose its value. i mean, 500 bucks for a lens which is quite old and no warranty...

The only reason why these lenses are still sky high in price is due to scarcity. Every alpha users wants to get their hand on the lens and there's not enough to go around.

some camera allows you to just pick a certain color to show. I know when i was playing with my bro's ixus 70, i can point at a color, den select it to only show that color when shooting. If i point at a red color source, the photo will only highlight red colors while the rest is in greytone. Pretty cool effect..

i dun think alpha cameras have that feature built in.

Some photos that i've taken during Blood donation event at my college. Was really bored as official photographer after 2 hours of shooting. As usual, C&C is deeply appreciated.

The idea behind both pics above were the green on red which sort of symbolizes life (it's blood donation week anyway).
