From your exif, you were using evaluative metering? An easier way is just switch to spot metering and meter the bright sun behind smile.gif

Yes, I could try to underexpose the shot even more if I wanted the silhouette completely black. But like I said, the sky would had been too dark for my taste. Either that, or I wait for an even later time to shoot this same photo (which I wasn't too keen on). It was a setting sun, not a rising sun for this shot. tongue.gif But yeah, thanks for your tips. Will keep that in mind. biggrin.gif

... and talk about gears. It is true that both Canon & Nikon had came out with video recording for some of their dslr cameras. And I foresee this trend will continue to grow. It was like what happened
*
wow...nice and long comment.....
really kena hentam kao kao by u lah kysham.....
now oni i realised tht we r photographing....not plyin with techs.....
those problem should let Sony settle not us....
but pretty sure Sony wont let them laugh too long lah....

im not a big fan of sony, so idont care if sony doesnt produce HD video recording DSLR..because i really dont need it for the time being..if two years from now sony didnt produce that function also, and that time i need that function, i dont mind to change to another system..

im choosing the brand because of the quality and the value for money, not because the brand itself..

dont worry, every ship got their own marketing strategy..

haha..sorry for merepek2 di pagi hari..LOL..
*
so can i know wat makes u buy Alpha system??
jz curious wanna know y all bros here like Sony.....
for me i like Sony coz of its natural colour looking pictures....
and i am using their PnS since year 2004....
and i love Alpha logo....damn yeng lah....

i often use Adobe Lightroom to convert my RAW into jpeg....
and i found out the 70% quality of Jpeg is just identity to 100% of Jpeg in terms of sharpness and all kind of details....
so guys....which should i choose for converting??
coz 70% is quite saving up the capacity....
