I think after Eames and co. influenced him into thinking his goddad was trying to hide something, their job is already done. The last part where he discover the 'truth' should be the outcome of direction where they wanted him to think about at the first place.

Quick edit: Example, they already know that he will have a new decision already after deceiving him, so lastly the 'decision' that they expect in the end is actually based on how he want to portray the 'truth' himself.
Another example, Fischer could picture that his dad actually loves him and wants him to become a man himself by building his own empire. That is 1 possibility. Another possibility is he would potray the 'truth' that his dad hates him and said he doesn't deserve to succeed the great empire his dad has built on.
All in all there are a lot of other possibility but it just depend on how Fischer 'creates' the 'truth' himself which is the last thing we see in the 'safe vault'
