Back from INCEPTION - I guess all the reviews are true; this is one of those movies makes you brain work for every minute. It's like me playing with jigsaw puzzles and trying to put together all the pieces to get the whole picture. But I love it. Truly engaging and exciting.
Yeah, lucid dream is nice. Experienced it I think more than 10 times; usually when I'm tired or stress. The dream is so real; and you can control what happen in that dream. What I normally did was flying around like Superman; just like Neo in The Matrix.
Fully aware it was a dream, i took control of somethings that would bend reality (flying around. My dreamscape was apartments surrounding me. I guess it shows i feel puny in reality).
2nd I can't really pinpoint it. Was interested with out of body experience, but that's another subject altogether.
The easiest way to enter lucid dream is to wake-up, and then go back sleep again. Thats how I got most of my lucid dream.

Ahh yes thanks for reminding me, that was one of the questions I had in mind while watching. How does one get back to reality from a limbo state? In fact, can someone tell me the whole story about Cobb and Mal? They were experimenting with dream states, took a high dosage of sedatives, lived a long time in their dream world, decided it was enough, killed themselves by being run over by a train, wound up in limbo, got old there, and then somehow getting back to reality? So how did they get back to reality? I'm not sure if I got their story correctly. Shit I cant remember anymore lol.
That reminds me of something;

They still look young when they committed suicide; getting run over by train; and went back to reality but during the last part, there was a scene showing that they grew older; or is that just what Mal is thinking. Or did they gone back to limbo after getting back to reality.

Yeah that's what I was talking about, which leads me to think now that suicide took them from their dream to limbo, not from limbo to reality. Because they were still young. At first I thought that suicide was the one that brought them back to reality, but I think, later in the film, they showed them getting old in their dream world. So yeah.

So when Mal jumped off the building, they're still in dream state?
I doubt that, perhaps they just didn't show how they got out from limbo... or I just missed something.
Will be watching again this sunday.

Yeah, that what makes me confuse also; coz after the scene with train suicide, they woke up in their house. And I thought they went back to reality; but Mal can't accept that part of reality and want to go back to dream state. And continued with the scene with her jumping off the building. I'm not sure with this continuity which part are they in; reality or dream state.

Back from 2nd-viewing. Much better this time since brain-puzzling is out of the way, I can concentrate more on character development and music score from Hans Zimmer. This time more emotionally attached towards the characters. And definitely love the music score.
And the ending;

This time I concentrated more on the totem. And I think it's gonna fall; coz from the sound of the spinning totem, the speed is getting slower and slower. You basically can hear the spinning sound is different when the totem is losing speed.
Or maybe it's just me.
And, did u guyz noticed in the airplane; Cobb woke-up first, and then only Saito since his face is quite blur like just woke up from deep sleep. So when they were in Limbo state before that, Saito reached the gun and shot Cobb first, then only he killed himself. So, Cobb woke up first, then only Saito. That's my interpretation.
who is telling the story where the young Cobb and Mal was lying on the railroad? was is Mal who told the story?
It was;

Cobb who told the story to Ariadne when they reached Limbo.
And the part where they showed they're older was after Mal was shot by Ariadne. Mal was telling Codd - "Do you remember when you proposed to me, and you told me that you dreamed that we live happily till we're old"
Cobb answered "Yeah, I remember. And we did". And they showed the cutscene of them in old age.

From 3rd layer, after Fischer got shot; did they (Cobb & Ariadne) really went into limbo state or is it another level (4th level) where Cobb acted as dream host?
Only after Cobb drowned in 1st layer and Saito died in 3rd layer, they went into limbo state for real?
That will explain how Saito looks older because he went in first.
I guess no matter which layer you're currently at; you'll be kicked out to the same limbo state.
I just get to know this from my friends. He watched 2 times for Inception. First was at GSC and the second time at TGV. Apparently he found out that the TGV version is screw up. Some of the scene was deleted and it is mixed up. It makes the movie is confusing.
So for those who said confusing.... are you watched at TGV?
I can confirmed this. Noticed it during my 2nd viewing at TGC KLCC (first viewing at GSC Pavilion).
After Saito offered the inception job to Cobb (scene with helicopter), after that suddenly the scene with Cobb testing the sedative by Yusuf was shown. The scene where Cobb met with Ariadne & Eames was shown only after they entered the 1st layer (raining scene).
