...imagine straining myself from watching the movie twice so that the BD will be all more worth it! I know the *clears throat* version is available but I'll just wait... end of the year and lacking funds (thanks to plethora of Xbox360 titles!), I'll probably just get the normal version. sad.gif

Hey guys something i dont understand from the movie

The almost end part where Cobb was talking to old Saito. What were they talking about? What's happening?

And in the end the 'gasing' didnt topple. means that is not real?
Or isit just about to topple? rclxub.gif

they are recalling stuffs from "their half-remembered dream"

the top did wobble quite much in the final second before it ends, and as we can see when Cobb described to Ariadne if they are in a dream, the top won't topple (the scene showed it spin almost perfectly still non stop)

yea, for them at that moment its still "dream" (limbo was still their reality)
only after Cobb convinced Saito that he's in limbo that they killed each other (didn't being showed) and return to the plane

inception as a whole is just mediocre. People seem to think it's a great movie because the ending was so beatifully pulled off that it left audiences with a final good impression. Really, the ending is the only good thing the movie has. That, and maybe the Hanz Zimmer soundtrack.

honestly, the movie was incredibly boring, i was barely awake by the time the movie reached that scene in the raining city, and i dozed off a few times during the snow scenes.

and worst of all, the movie takes great pains as to make the mechanics of the dreams so overly complicated, and some of them don't even make sense. It doesn't help that the movie keeps overloading the audience with a bunch of new rules for the dreamworld every 5 minutes, making, making it hard for the audience to really process them all, let alone understand them. It's hard to make of what's happening most of the time, and i'm pretty sure 99% of the people who watched this movie couldn't either.

i give this movie 3/5.

its hard to understand what happens because you dozed off and "barely awake" throughout the movie?

Watch it again and tell me how is it.

Nolan movies tend to suck if you are watching the first time.

Hmm, I kinda agree with u. I dont think its that good as many people say it is. I really got abit disappointed.
And the part about the time in dream moves faster is wrong, it is the same for dream and reality, technically.
And seriously can a dreamer manipulate the totem behavior and tricking the subject into thinking he was in real world...zzz

about the bolded part- I thought if they die in dream within dream in so many layers, they wouldnt wake up to live?

Anyway, why is Saito so old in limbo and Cobb still so young?

well its a sci-fi for god sake
dream feels real while they are in it, so no tricks is needed

apparently you can kill yourself in limbo and wake up as normal (limbo is a whole other level of dimension compare to the other layer)

Saito is dead before Cobb fell into limbo, so naturally he's older

Wow, a hardcore detected

Somehow I feel that this movie is being "hoo-haed" just like Avatar
...but this is still a better movie

Anyway does anyone notice that at a part Eames face was exposed to Fisher and at earlier on in the 1st level of dream, Eames was sitting beside Fisher when he was kidnapped. Mistake?

And I thought Fisher's uncle was trying to kidnap Fisher but how come at last Fisher and his uncle was like ok d?
