I do not see anything wrong with it unless you know you did something unhealthy in the past.

History has showed us that relying just on TRUST is not going to last you a long time. Take the test & show your spouse with a smile on your face that you are clean. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

why not? i don't see any harm taking this test.

it's just a test. if u ever listen to mix fm, they do advice couples to take the test before marriage.

For the sake of your future generation, it's worthy.
Sometimes it's not only about multiple sex partners or needle sharing, you never know.

It's simple. just one prick on the finger (of the needle) and wait for a few minutes and then you'll get the result.

off course before that you'll have to listen to the doc talking about sex/safe sex/masturbation makes you blind etc..listen carefully during this time because some facts are really really surprising to me, like more heterosexual female became infected these days.

i took mine a few mths ago. last one was soooo loongg ago. I'm basically not getting any due to to lack of social life and no effort to hook up, but still, i wanna know my result. and i did some things with furry things that im not proud of back in 1998.

take the test and always use rubber dear friends.

i think it would be damn safe to do it because if u love your partner, then u should do and tell them the truth.. smile.gif
anyway, HIV is not anything that we should be scared of, it is the way human beings look at you.
that's why discrimination towards ppl with HIV is a big NO NO

If "+", then can take precaution and try ways to extend their life. not just "Menghitung hari". Life is so meaningful. Even if you are detected positive, doesn't mean your life ends now. It might be a time limit for your to do more good to others, make the world a better place by helping less fortunate. There are more kids starving in Africa than we getting HIV AIDS in this country. You life may end 10-15 years but for those poor kids, they cant even stay alive for 10-15 days. Cherish life my friends.

Added on June 22, 2009, 10:00 pmoh yankeemama, what a lovely reply you have there....

it's so strange, how come since you supported the HIV Testing, nobody ever claim the prize ? Prize for what ?

http://www.heallondon.org/index.php?option...id=51&Itemid=56

yeah, strange, not even the modern medical science you know of, up to now as we speak wink.gif I wonder if those others who supports it REALLY knows about what is HIV ?

Remember, using FEAR to make people go for HIV TESTING means something isnt right about that testing...I can see a lot of people inside here are fearful of "HIV" which is natural and good, but FEARING something that is QUESTIONABLE.

Aikss, but many people died of AIDS, I see the statistics in the media, I heard from my friends,...is it the truth ?

Added on June 22, 2009, 10:54 pmMengikut seorang doctor, namanya Dr Roberto Giraldo, beliau berkata :

In 'Tests for HIV are Highly Inaccurate', Dr. Roberto Giraldo wrote:

"Some of the conditions that cause false positives on the so-called 'AIDS test' are: past or present infection with a variety of bacteria, parasites, viruses, and fungi including tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, influenza, the common cold, leprosy and a history of sexually transmitted diseases; the presence of polyspecific antibodies, hypergammaglobulinemias, the presence of auto-antibodies against a variety of cells and tissues, vaccinations, and the administration of gamma globulins or immunoglobulins; the presence of auto-immune diseases like erythematous systemic lupus, sclerodermia, dermatomyositis and rheumatoid arthritis; the existence of pregnancy and multiparity; a history of rectal insemination; addiction to recreational drugs; several kidney diseases, renal failure and hemodialysis; a history of organ transplantation; presence of a variety of tumors and cancer chemotherapy; many liver diseases including alcoholic liver disease; hemophilia, blood transfusions and the administration of coagulation factor; and even the simple condition of aging, to mention a few of them.

It is interesting to note that all of these conditions that cause the 'HIV tests' to react positive in the absence of HIV, are conditions which are present with varied distribution and concentration in all of the conventionally recognized AIDS risk groups in the developed countries, as well as in the vast majority of inhabitants of the underdeveloped world. This means that in all probability many drug users [including mothers], certain gay males, and some haemophiliacs in the developed countries, as well as the vast majority of inhabitants in most countries of Africa, Asia, South America and the Caribbean, who have positive reactions to the tests for HIV, may very well do so due to conditions other than being infected with HIV…There is no justification for the fact that both patients and the general public have had all of the preceding facts withheld from them. Without the merits and demerits of the tests for HIV, people cannot make informed decisions." (Being 'HIV-positive' does not mean that a person is infected with 'HIV'; Tests for HIV are Highly Inaccurate, Dr. Roberto Giraldo).

Jadi, mengikut pendapat anda, patutkah ujian saringan HIV diwajibkan ?
95% setakat sekarang mengesahkan bahawa Ujian HIV akan membawa kebahagiaan kepada semua pihak, tanpa was-was, tanpa mengetahui apakah sebenarnya yang disukat dalam ujian ini... shocking.gif
