Religion/Race: China-pek born into Christianity but that's about as Christian as I get.
Occupation: Radio technology engineer (other words 2G, 3G, 4G engineer)
(This is where most interesting people would stop reading)Hobbies and interests: Badminton, tennis and long distance cycling (although I haven't done any of those in quite some time). Did play badminton when I was stationed in Thailand but came to Korea the winter just keeps me indoors most of the time.
Other description (u may write a short essay about yourself, to show your personality): I'm actually posting this up because it's like everyone in Lowyat has posted themselves here, plus I'm bored to death doing night shifts now and thought it'd be interesting to write a little bit about myself for the forum.
I'm in a very happy relationship and am not interested in having any extra tyres (This is where most people looking for love stop reading), hopefully this does not disqualify me from posting here but I'm gonna do it anyway since I'm bored to death, plus it would be great to make new friends.
So what do I like? I love travelling, that's the reason I joined my current company. I travel globally to countries that require my job skills and knowledge. Since I'm fairly new in the company, I've only been to Thailand and Korea. I have no idea where my next assignment after Korea will be but that's in another few months so no worries. I've made it a goal to learn about the local cultures and language and of course experience the amazing foods that come with it.
I love computer games but ever since I've started work I haven't had time to really play, mainly since I travel around with just the company laptop I don't really have a PC to play on too. Slowly I'm growing out of the gaming life but I still enjoy some immerseful gaming once in a while when I'm back in Malaysia. I play mostly RPG games, not much into online multiplayers like DotA so please don't talk to me about DotA.
(This is where most impatient people stop reading this wall of text, and most DotA enthusiast)I'm actually a really active guy most of the time, I love the outdoors. Ask me out for a swim or a run I'd be happy to oblige. I'm a red-black in taekwon-do back when I was 12 (stopped because my parents wanted me to focus on my UPSR, didn't continue after that), cycled between 20 to 40km a day for 8 plus years back when I was still studying (hitting 70+ when I'm too bored and too free), ran the Penang bridge 10k fun run back in 2010(not much of a runner than I am a cyclist) and won a few tennis competitions back when I was in high school.
Although I did attend Chinese primary school I do not really speak it fluently, I grew up speaking English and so I prefer communicating in English. And as you can see I am also quite long winded. When I start talking on a topic that really interest me I'd go on and on and on. I love long deep intellectual conversations (I'd leave this to your interpretation on what counts as intellectual) that really gets the brain working, and since I'm quite opinionated you can expect me to be very vocal about my ideas and ideals, but I'm always interested in seeing what other people think about the same topic.
Requirements / preferences: Basically you just have to be human. And I do not watch football, so please no football talk.
(This is where most football kakis stop reading)Links (facebook/friendster/blog/pictures, whatever) etc (optional): I haven't logged in friendster since the stone age, I deleted my blogs as me being so opinionated might land me in a places I do not want to be, I have not logged into Facebook since 2011 as I was practically addicted to it and realized that I wanted to connect with people on a level higher than over a medium created with wires and silicone. If you understood all that then hey! We'd get along just fine
MSN (optional): Who uses this anymore??? Seriously??? If you're bored like me and actually took the time to read all that then please feel free to send me a PM (again I currently work night shifts so might take some time before I reply).
