Game Fest 09(GDC main event)
Game Fest 09 is an event organized by Game Developers' Club, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya which consists of 9 events as listed below. Game Fest 09 will also be handling Fusion LAN, an event which is organized by AMD, Cyberview and GameGen, with the attempt to break the world record as the longest LAN Party in the world. Current record is 36 hours nonstop Gaming, and we are going to break it at 38 hours non-stop gaming. Game Fest 09 Sponsors: AMD, Cyberview, GameGen. E-sport 09 competition titles: COD4,C&C: Kane’s Wraith DOTA, CS 1.6, and FIFA 09. E-Sport 09 champion and 1st runner up. Game titles involved in the reservation includes DOTA, FIFA 09, and CS 1.6. The Champion and 1st runner up will be slotted into the top 16 for Fusion LAN tournament.

Console Party Gathering PS3, NWii, PSP, NDS
Console Party Gathering is a type of gathering that we invite console gamers to come for console gaming and share thier interest with everyone. There will be few consoles(PS3, NWii, PSP, NDS) for u guys to play with and also we will have HD LCD TVs too. There will be extra HD TVs so that u guys can bring your consoles(original non-mod) here to share with us and have some extra fun. You are also welcomed to bring your own Games(Original) here to share with us too.
Objective:
(a)To gather the console community in Malaysia
(b)To let console game lovers get to know and experience the new games/top games that are available.
( c)Promote consoles and console games for each 7th generation console.(PS3, NWii, PSP, NDS)
Date: 10th April 2009 – 12th April 2009
Time: 10.00am to 9.00pm for each day
Location: MMU CyberJaya
Venue: MMU GrandHall
Mini Competition
There will be a mini competition for each day. (Friday and Saturday)
Day 1: PS3 >>>Street Fighter IV
Day 2: NWii >>>Wii Sports
the competition game titles are not finalised yet.
we are planning also to host a competition for the game which players play to get the top score and win prizes too.
btw, there will be some prizes to be won for the 1st,2nd and 3rd place each day.
Prizes: cash prizes, Game CDs, others... (yet to be confirmed)
Registration will be on the spot on that day itself and its free!!
Pop Quiz Lucky Draw
There will be some question forms for u guys to fill and win some lucky draw prizes!! (grand prize>> 1 original game CD)
Selling your Games and Consoles
There will be a service for us to help anyone that have any original game CDs or Consoles to sell and we will help you all market it on that day itself. Please note that we are going to deduct some money for each item sold for a little commission.
Sorry if we cancelled out the XBox 360 coz its not officially launched in Malaysia yet.BTW you can bring your own XBOX there.
STRICTLY NO PIRATED OR MODIFIED PRODUCTS(CONSOLES/GAMES) ARE ALLOWED
Hang Out Area
There will be an area where gamers can hang out to talk and share about console gaming and also those who would like to bring thier PSP, NDS and other game boys are also welcome to share them with other players at this area. You can play by PSP-to-PSP with other players too.
