KTMB do hire companies like Balfour Beatty to do maintenance for those tracks, like Rawang-Ipoh track....

Long time liao, even Klang Valley system is maintained by Balfour Beatty....

KTMB also received training from Queensland Rail (QR) to run fast train to Ipoh

Another series of the "Electrified Double Tracking Project" on Malaysian Railways.....9xx km

After the current Ipoh-Padang Besar and Seremban-Gemas EDTP is completed, the stretch remains to be electrified and double track is the Gemas to Johor Bahru line...

For Klang Valley, this company responsible for the maintenance for long time ago, probably 1990's and contract was extended in 2004....

They are also the one that will be doing works on Ipoh-Padang Besar
