hi, i planning to buy acoustic guitar which is around RM300..
i heard many ppl said YAMAHA is good..
so which model is cheap and sounds quality are good??

Yes, for beginner and intermediate, YAMAHA F310 is the best choice. It is always having postive reviews for under rm 350 guitars.

the current price for F-310 is 360 BUT u can kaw kaw nego until 300 ^^

Yamaha does make very good budget guitars....with one caveat:

With the exception of their Japanese-made models (e.g. 26/36 models from the L series, high-end Compass, etc.) every other steel-string Yamaha I've seen had a bad neck angle. For those unfamiliar the term, no, I am not talking about neck relief, which can be easily adjusted via the truss rod. A bad neck angle is much more serious and permanent. In short, what this means is that it will be difficult to adjust the guitar action to a suitably low height for more advanced playing (especially fingerstyle) without sacrificing tone. Even their mid-range models (I have a RM2800 LL16) suffer from the same problem, although they sound and play great.

My advice to you (and anyone else who's new to acoustic guitars) is to keep neck angle in mind when shopping for instruments. Playability makes a huge difference in your advancement as a guitarist. If possible, get a guitar which sounds good and has a healthy neck angle, although this may not be easy to do in Malaysia since our choices are very limited

May I know where can get cheapest F310? Asked in S'ban's yamaha it cost Rm340 .

I've seen F310 at Yamaha HQ in Kelana Jaya going for RM 320. Maybe price went up now. They have sales a few times a year.

F310 Tobacco Sunburst is RM 510 at Beatspot Yamaha in The Curve Mutiara Damansara.

Survey abit about F310 at my hometown. Went yamaha retail price was Rm360 with 5 % discount , another shop selling Rm340 after nego.

Yeah. Really sad. I think you can get a nice Takamine D-Series for that price.

I just dropped by Beatspot again and the price for the Sunburst FX-310 is around RM 740. That is crazy. My solid-top Ibanez wasn't that expensive. The FX-310 isn't even solid topped and I doubt the electronics are so awesome to warrant an extra RM 300?
