Hi, may I know how to make claims for RM24000?
May i know the procedure for filing claims in a Magistrates' Court?
Do I need a lawyer or I can represent myself?
Can anyone tell me the procedures involved?
Any legal fees I have to pay?

I joined a MLM company(still operating) as a member. Not satisfied with the folowings:
1. Items purchased not up to standard. No improvement.
2. Failed to pay monthly bonus as promised.
3. Earnings' Withdrawal pending for more than 3 months.
4. Company stop offering products, freezing members' cash. No buying allowed and pending withdrawal.
5. Call up to company, give excuses such as having meetings, person-in-chage absent/busy etc.

As I know Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia only serves for claims not more than RM10k.
Contributive posts welcomed. Please don't post if you're just curious about the case.
Thanks in advance.

Did you sign any contract for the MLM company? Read through the details first then proceed to lawyer firm to discuss the details in the contract.

I suggest you look for proper channel dealing with this as the amount is big. Get preliminary advice from lawyers. They should be able to advice based on whatever papers that you may have. Such as contracts, receipts, agreements and so on.

Make sure everything are well documented and you should be able to sue them. Also, notify the department that handles MLMs in Malaysia. I forgot the name of the department. It should be a company under ministry of finance.

Goodluck and make those leechers pay.
