QUOTE
Enid Mary Blyton (11 August 1897 – 28 November 1968) was a British children's writer known as both Enid Blyton and Mary Pollock. She was one of the most successful children's storytellers of the twentieth century. Once described as a "one-woman fiction machine", she is noted for numerous series of books based on recurring characters and designed for different age groups. Her books have enjoyed popular success in many parts of the world, and have sold over 400 million copies. By one measure, Blyton is the sixth most popular author worldwide: over 3400 translations of her books were available in 2007 according to UNESCO's Index Translationum;[1] she is behind Lenin and almost equal to Shakespeare. One of her most widely known characters is Noddy, intended for beginning readers. However, her main forte is the young readers' novels, where children ride out their own adventures with minimal adult help. In this genre, particularly popular series include the Famous Five (consisting of 21 novels, 1942 – 1963, based on four children and their dog), the Five Find-Outers and Dog, (15 novels, 1943-1961, where five children regularly outwit the local police) as well as the Secret Seven (15 novels, 1949 – 1963, a society of seven children who solve various mysteries). Her work involves children's adventure stories, and fantasy, sometimes involving magic. Her books were and still are enormously popular in Britain, Malta, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Australia; and as translations in the former Yugoslavia, Japan, and across most of the globe. Her work has been translated into nearly 90 languages.
Most popular works:

1. The Adventure series
2. The Barney Mystery series
3. The Circus series
4. The Famous Five series
5.The Five Find-Outers
6.The Magic Faraway Tree series
7.he Malory Towers series
8.The Mistletoe Farm series
9.The Naughtiest Girl series
10.The Noddy books
11.http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=...=edit&redlink=1
12.The Secret series
13.The Secret Seven series
14.The St. Clare's series
15.The Wishing-Chair series

i believe Borders are selling her hardcover books pretty cheap... ^^ RM39.95

wishing chairs hardcover ( 3-in-1 book )

faraway tree hardcover ( 3-in-1 book )

i hate that her naughtiest girl in the school series was continued by other author... it spoilt the story... >.< it was originated to be 4 books but continued another 6 books by another author...

i was planning to get Amelia Jane series.. but i saw the horror of 10 books... >.< i hope not another author of doing her/his so-called-duty of continuing another series...

Wow! I pratically grew up with Enid Blyton's books! I read most of her famous books already and I think I owe my love of reading and the English language to her!

I grew up with most of her books around me, however i was never into them, my abang was. He read them all, the Famous Five's and the Secret Seven's. Somehow the only ones i did actually read were The Naughtiest Girl's series.
That was a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
