ATi catalyst have option to raise clock/ memory of ur GC setting, u can use em'
also, ATi tray tool for more misc. setup

i think, only if there is physical damage/ burn or something look like it been modified would void warranty

why dont u try forceware & ntune utility?
u can set the core speed, fan cycle & also it has gpu temp. monitor

Futuremark is FREEWARE, BUT if you intend to change the benchmark setup, you have to purchase it~
