so we all know that the Sangokuden manga and Sangokuden model kit comics have different story, but which is true? Guo Jia still in Cao Cao's army of does he defect and go to Lu Bu's Army instead? i really wan him to be in Lu Bu's Army and have the Purple Army Emblem on Guo Jia's Box

We should be seeing alot of Purple Turtle Logos on kits alot next year... Finally Lu Bu not alone... I remember seeing Sun Quan at a similar state years ago haha... I guess to better understand the story you should read both the manga and the comic included in the kit... the only reason the kit differ from the manga is that they cant put a character their that they dont plan on making a kit release off... hence the alternations of enemies and Sun Ce being alive in the Comic World version and the fact that Guo Jia is unofficialy dead on the comic world version... plus the manga can have more pages thus having more flesh out story... But forget everything I just said we have the anime comming soon hehehe

From what I know is, initially, BB series is the musha series and also series that include BB weapon.
GG series is from g-generation series (from console game) which include most of the 'modern' gundam models.

But later on, these two series are combined together, and GG series starts to stop the releases. And, eventually, GG series are released together as BB series nowadays.
Looking back at the old releases, you can find some model kits are released in both BB and GG series, like Turn A that I most remembered (it is ugly, my point of view ). You can find SD Turn A in both SD/BB series and GG series. If not mistaken, they are the same, just the boxart different.(not sure if weapon is the same)

You can't say that GG series looks worse or simpler as compared to BB series. They are basically the same. Dont compare the old GG series to recent BB series (like seed series, sangokuden series), they are at different technology. So, if you look at old musha series and GG series, they are about the same.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Basically mostly are my own thinking coz I dont know where to find this information also. So, try to put in all the pieces of information that I collected into one.....

guys im planning to ask my sister-in-law to buy me a SD Deep Striker in Singapore this December. Do I need to have an airbrush or handpainting will also do justice to this resin kit?

from looking at your blog, i guess you already started to do some hand painting on your SD, which turn out quite nice actually. so why worried about airbrush?

there's no absolute answer to which SD can only be air brush and which SD can only be handpaint. i would say just give it a try.

as for me, i handpaint my sd.

Not entirely correct in this case. chev_chelios is buying a resin kit. This kit is complex to start of with. Second it's a resin kit. I would really recommend air brush for this. When you decide to do a resin kit, you would want to give the best to it. You woulden want to mess up such a beautiful and expensive kit.

chev_chelios : you did a great job on your previous kits =D
your handpaint job is very neat, but if you goin to try airbrush it also not a bad idea
for me i choose airbrush because my handpaint skill are sux and i feel that airbrush is easier than handpaint (skipped the masking part) =p

didn't realise it's a resin kit. but, i wouldn't recomment airbrush this lovely kit at first attemp too.

yup unless our airbrush skill is ok.. more hassle if to redo..
