Hi all,

I wonder if any of you out there is using this unit Glofiish DX900 ( http://www.glofiish.com/index9.htm?no=dx900 ). Is it any good? The brand "glofiish" is very new to my ears. I saw it is being sold at PDA Expert.

Any guru out there wanna give comment?

Thanks.

PDA specific subforum is only for official fan clubs. moved to general PDA forum section.

Glofish is by Eten dude. different branding. pretty good devices, but market value tends to drop rather quickly since few people heard of it/ and wanna buy it second hand.

but from experience it is a solid device, but i have yet to see 3d and 2 d acceleration capabilities. havent played with the new models before

AFAIK Eten produced a lot of good PDA and they have good reputation as GPS PDA.

For this model, eventhought it support dual SIM but only one slot can be use for broadband. But one thing I love about this PDA was it have TV-out which mean you do navigating on your car LCD screen.

Areu using this PDA now? I got the chance to hold the unit and play with it for a while...it's really kinda cool. Yes, only one of the sim card slots is 3.5G and the other is 2.5G if i'm not mistaken?

i previously owned Eten M500, and Glofiish X500. Solid build, drop many times still no problem. but sometimes hang. I guess is the internal memory not enough.

I sure hope so. I am already very very close to buying this DX900 model. I went surveying yesterday and almost bought one.

But i guess i have to hold on for a while for some good offer....at least until April....

Added on March 6, 2009, 7:27 pmAnybody plans to go to PDA Expert this weekend? Please help me to check the current price for DX900 (and its freebies) smile.gif

Anybody? Thank you in advance.

i own an eten glofiish m700...bought 2nd hand, quite cheap...good device, altho a tad bulky...but for first time pdda users, it's more than enough. The GPS is quite fast as well...i heard it's probably the fastest among most pda of its time...

so my guess is Dx900 should still be good buy if the price is right...and parts surely will be more abundant since the brand is under Acer now

OK, I've just booked myself a unit of Acer DX900 today. I got it at RM1899 with FOC extra 1500mah battery...

Now it's time to search for valuable softwares to fill up my 16gb microsd...
