proximity and light sensor

means when the phone is near ur face during a call, the screen will turn off to conserve energy/prevent accidental presses as well as during incoming call, if ur phone is in the pocket there will be nothing displayed..until u take the phone out of ur pocket

er..interchangeably la..the proximity sensor should be the one circled

i think the reflective one is light and the almost invisible one is the proximity...

by the way i just tested..incoming calls, even when i put something on top of the sensor..the screen doesn't turn off when the phone's ringing..v20 update.. -.-

if u notice, when u put ur phone at near ur face during call, then the screen will get black rite. one of the function to prevent accident click to screen while talking.

should be the light sensor that dims the screen when you're in a bright place and makes the screen brighter in dark places

the light sensor on N series and E series is supposed to turn off the keypad backlight under bright light conditions and also to increase the light brightness for the screen to improve visibility eg: under the sun..however, it doesn't really seem to do much for the 5800, as i realized the 3 buttons are usually lit no matter where you are...perhaps the screen brightness may increase? but didn't really see much diffference...

the ear piece volume still got problem?

touch wood, me aso neba kena the fluctuating ear piece vol prob ...

no yet first got tube i disable vibrate. i know virbate not good for phone it shaking electronics device~

i'm still waiting for the proper garmin to pop out..dun wan virtual key and all...><

i don't think so kua..i'm using level 2 aso...somehow the vibrate may wear out faster la...coz that day i bought a 2nd hand 02 atom..the vibrator was so strong at first...buzz until can hear plastics also got sound..den now...weakened adi... :/
