QUOTE(toilet bowl @ Feb 11 2009, 11:37 PM) @aspire mylarone x3i, is not for bass. Look at the freq range 20hz to 22khz, if you really want to heard the full potential of music try earphone freq range 5hz to 24khz.. Really deep bass and treble..infact my sony x700 freq range 3hz -24khz.. Woww.. means nid bigger hz oni nice treble n bass or smaller hz??duno how to see..

QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Feb 11 2009, 11:44 PM) Not exactly. You can have a good audio experience even with low-end devices with a pair of good earphones. The 5800 has been praised by many to have one of the best SQ for a phone. Tuner if u compare like that iphone wins u know. I think i heard better for a phone.

YOu get what i mean with my ipod + x3i i get amazing bass and clarity but when u use it on the 5800 XM omg it goes no where. Added on February 11, 2009, 11:47 pmI even purposely tried with shure. I dunno maybe my ears too sensitive to audio quality. This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Feb 11 2009, 11:47 PM

Haha sorry i gave 5800XM a chance. For loud speaker yes 5800 XM but for sound hardware + expensive earphones not worth to spend.
I havent tried it with BH-503 yet

The hz is for bass the lower the better and khz is for treble, the higher the better, as for ipod , it already got a marvelous amplified audio chips/decoder in it,

I havent tried it with BH-503 yet Bh-503 sound very good indeed, even beats my sony dr-bt22, the bh503 got dedicated audio chip built in the headphone.
