QUOTE(hvaly @ Feb 10 2009, 11:00 AM) then i think u need to try using the NSU to update ur firmware. If still can not, then just go to any NCC to update it !! FREE if ori Well, will have to wait till evening till i get back home to update my tube over NSU then.. dont have my USB cable now.. fast way to check for ori, just make sure ur phone is comes with zitron/avaxx/sapura sticker after you open the tube back cover. But if you purchase from a nokia store, it should be ori. my set does have those zitron stickers but still cannot understand why FOTA is working for some and not for others even when all are ori sets.. |

QUOTE(zackloy @ Feb 10 2009, 11:38 AM) I didn't know that, incremental means they only add and change specific parts of the original firmware, right? yepp ...QUOTE(-i-c-h-i-g-o- @ Feb 10 2009, 11:38 AM) when update is done, the firmware in your phone will be the same as those updated via NSU ... |

QUOTE(zackloy @ Feb 10 2009, 11:25 AM) Speaking from experience? Maybe you can tell us about the potential cons of using wireless to update, I can think of only 2: 3. Lost packet...distortion...you know wireless la...1. Wireless suddenly disconnects 2. Transfer rates are slower Anything else? For important update such as firmware dun play play....the safest way still is cable even you don't like that could minimal the impact... |
