what is fusion lan?

hey eddie, sorry to bug you so early, but for the NFSPS rules, its mentioned that the car to be used will be a preselected blueprint. can you give us the savegame so we can use it to practice? is it the same one as wcg2008 or something else? thanks mate.

Is the prelim for seeding purposes like wat WCG or CELGames did?Cause i cant make it to the prelim because of exam.

Owh BTW,the registration for FUSION LAN tournament is separate right?And if it is separate how to register for it?

Added on February 9, 2009, 10:58 pmBasically Fusion LAN and my E-Sport 09 is 2 seperate tournament. You will have to register seperately. And you may register for both because these 2 tournaments will not clash with each other. E-Sport 09 will ends on 10th April, Fusion LAN tournament will starts on 11th April.

Are you MMU student? shouldn't have exam during that time if you are MMU student.

Right now, they havn't open for registration. You'll need to wait.

thanks kumhon, i understand now y the fees are more, but since all participants pay more... the problem is only the top 2 gets to participate in fusion lan... isn't that still kinda overpricing the fees?
my opinion is to hope it is RM20 instead
i think that'll be more reasonable for an additional RM5 for possible entry to fusion lan if u get top 2
y i think so cos it may really lower the expected number of participants for fifa if the fee is so different. the diehards will definitely join but u'll lose the enthusiasts who wants to give it a shot

They have not finalized the registration fees for that yet.I will update it when I get the info. Anyway, i updated the prize list for Fusion. They will most probably take this option for their prize list.

And what more, you will get slotted into the top 16 for the game, win 1 game in Fusion will already confirm u a cash prize. The prize for Fusion is from 1st to 8th.

the game protocol is the game engine version, i believe. but i'm not sure whats the diff between 47 and 48. btw eddie, us nfs-ers really need that savegame/ car blueprint sorted so we can practice. hope you can get back to me on this soon.

For the NFS cars, we will change the rules to allow only bonus cars to be used inside the tournament. So tunning of the cars are unnessasary. Which cars to use we have yet to decide. We will provide the save file ASAP. Thanks.

I mean dateline for the Preliminaries, when?
Difference between protocol 47 and 48 is that the recoil a bit different.
But if you're using latest counter-strike then should be 48.
If you want to know the protocol version, start up cs, open up console and type "version". It would be stated there

For NSP, you can use any bonus cars that is available that comes with the game itself. You do not need a save file for that. Sorry for the delay. And also, all the rules are being updated.

No, ok a person paid RM30 for fifa. But in the end there were not many players that registered for fifa so it has to be cancelled. What happens then.

If really is, we'll ask Singaporean clans to come as well, because this seems big.

Based on what's written at GDC's site, Call of Duty 4 will be in the April's GameFest/Cyber Fusion although the one next week doesn't have them.

However, the exact matching table is not yet out, some teams may come later because we won't have all the matches run simultaneously, especially the first match. We will send an email to all the particiapnt regarding the matching time tomorrow night. For FIFA09, C&C3, and NFS players, the matches will be finished in 1 day: Sunday. It is not necessary to come on saturday for players of C&C3, NFS, and FIFA09.

2) DOTA is single elimination until top 4. Means no winner/loser bracket at early stage.

Personally, I feel that the NFS/C&C prizes is kinda low...but with the low number of participants, I guess there is nothing we can do. At least, there is still a racing tournament...
