QUOTE(quahk2006 @ May 13 2009, 09:44 AM) i thought the metal back should be based on the color u choose? "SIlver" ? and protector was there when i saw the Amazon.de <--prrevious page i post...that picture still look like take from the prototype..we will only know when it is official launch..of coz they mention test b4 buying is a must i mean this:QUOTE In our first i8910 Omnia HD preview based on a very early pre-production sample, we were more than impressed with its full metal battery cover and the handy release latch. Unfortunately, the more recent version takes a completely different approach. Neither is it made of metal, nor is the release mechanism so reliable. The Omnia HD rear is now all glossy plastic, which turns into a fingerprint nightmare. We fear that with time the cover is expected to start playing up - at this point it doesn't fit firmly in place and will occasionally pop open at the slightest pressure. QUOTE And finally, there's no lens protection - that's another unwelcome change from the first unit we previewed The new beta unit the 1st prototype |

QUOTE(F1meteor @ Jul 30 2009, 10:36 AM) I'm wondering could this 8mp HD beat the upcoming SE Idou 12mp if read mobile-review's pixon12 review. u will notice Omnia HD boost one of the best 8mpx camera sensor for mobile phone. it manage to on par with pixon12 and even in certain aspect can outperform pixon12. base on the spec, pixon12 seems better than than Idou. Both are using symbian, I'm actually wanted a better camera phone during 3.2mpx camphone time, SE is the best, but when move to 5mpx, 8mpx, nokia, samsung and LG can outperform SE already. |

GSMArena's Review
QUOTE Unfortunately, now that we have a retail unit, we're not as impressed with the video quality as we were when we previewed the pre-release version. The Samsung Omnia HD video recording is still miles ahead of the competition but the results in our preview were definitely better. Perhaps the improvement of the audio quality has resulted in lowering of the video quality as a compromise. This post has been edited by squall_kay: Jul 31 2009, 07:22 AM |
