Too bad the new Symbian virtual keyboard sucks big time.... make sure you try the virtual keyboard before you buy...else you'll regret spending >RM2K for a phone that is not-finger-friendly...

the kastam officer(s) want to test & hentam cukup-cukup all the stocks then only can release to public purchase....or the FMG need to "bawah meja" itu kastam officer(s). that's one of the reason why Malaysia price is more expensive than Singapore...

MSM = MalSingMap = Contribution-ware MFM = MalFreeMap = Free-ware
A lot of developments has been done in MFM. You'll get the weekly map updates. Unlike MSM, once a month....?
I use both. 1st priority to MFM. If MFM doesn't have the coverage, I'll switch to MSM
Any i8910 users care to brief the battery performance...? I'm only interested on phones having battery of 1500mAh and above. Currently using i780 having decent 1480mAh performance.

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Aug 26 2009, 10:52 PM) How do you switch map? By renaming the img files? Or you have combined both maps in 1 img file? Renaming.

This is kind of bonus question:
Has anyone successfully play video on i8910 via WLAN network at home? I mean, the file (avi, mpg, flv) is located at PC Desktop. Then connect i8910 to the desktop via WiFi, browse the PC using i8910 and play the video on i8910.
This feature is also known as "Home Media" in i8910.

QUOTE(aruja_69 @ Nov 15 2009, 07:22 PM) That is a nice news to hear. So far I can do this for WinMo platform. And it's very easy for WinMo. But as for my N78, I haven't got it to work. I can play the video on PC by using N78 as the "remote". But cannot play video in N78 itself. I really need this feature as all my downloads are on the PC (downstairs). I can just browse the files via my i780 thru WiFi and play any videos on my bed (upstairs) thru my i780 screen. This is the only function that Symbian lacks off. QUOTE(raptorclans @ Nov 16 2009, 08:03 AM) Wow that feature looks neat!! XD Btw guys, what format does HD video need to be in order to play on the phone? I know quicktime isn't supported, but even wmv gets a "unable 2 play either sound or video clip" there's sound but no video The default built-in Samsung player may not be as good as CorePlayer. Try to install CorePlayer to see if i8910 play the HD smoothly.
