Hi Aruja, congrat on getting your new nice phone. I just would like to know whether the given pouch
does comes with belt-clip mechanism or not?

Last night went to Gurney Plaza, there is one shop quoted me RM2760. Package comes bundled with 8G micoSD, screen protector, car holder, car charger and blue tooth. Can some one confirm this?

I went to test on the i8910 HD last night, the screen was gorgeous & marvellous in the first sight.

In terms of the UI, even with its capacitive screen type, the touch & scrolling feel is kind of
different compare to iPhone & other capacitive screen phones. You just can't scroll thru the
menu page by page as what other capacitive screen phone does. I believe this is the constraint
of the Symbian OS.

Did any of you guys who own the i8910 HD notice that there is an annoying mechanism moving
sound came out from its camera when you try to press on the camera shuttle for focussing?
Wondering whether this is a common symptoms thru out all the i8910 HD phones?
I tested on the macro mode trying to snap a small object in very close distance but the phone
just couldn't get the focussing clear besides hearing the "tek tek tek tek tek..." sound from the
camera, sigh...

The effort for the gallery menu to show up all the images smoothly/completely when you tried to
scroll up/down the pages also another minus point of this phone.

Except the above two to three negative feedbacks, the overall phone performance is pretty impressive
especially on its AMO LED screen, video playback capability & also the external speaker sound quality
(the best that i have ever heard).

I must agree that this is the best Symbian phone in the market at this point of time, bravo!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you bought the phone? Where did you try out the phone? Is it Central Square?
S60 5th definitely is not fully optimised for touch usage, the UI is a bit unfriendly as some needs a single while others needs double touch rclxub.gif . I've Nokia5800 so i know how it feels.

Oops, forgot to conclude the outcome. Yes, i bought the phone at last,RM2600 without the micro SD caused i already have the 16gb.
Ya,the battery life is no good even with 1500Amh capacity. The battery bar drop pretty fast not only during garmin navigation, also during internet surfing. A bit regret now cause the battery life segment is crucial to me...

Anybody know where to find the reset button for this phone?
I noticed that there is one tiny hole just below the battery where
it looks like a reset button but in fact it is not.

This phone doesn't comes with reset button or all Symbian phones
also dun have reset button ? rclxub.gif

That is not the case when this phone comes into web surfing, youtube streaming & garmin navigation
(via wifi or packet data services), the battery life just couldn't hold on as how it claimed to be... cry.gif

other than gps....i think battery life of this phone is much BETTER than other phones in same series, I've 2.5 days fair usage (video watching, photo shooting, tweaking, familiarizing....) and while still got 2 bars left, i decided to do a full charge again, so it should be more than >2.5 days...hehe

battery consumption lesser than other phones (wm) due to:

-symbian require less power to operate
-AMOLED screen save ALOT of battery life smile.gif
-1500mAH is huge capacity battery ^^

Can any Omnia HD's owners confirm whether the cameras also producing that
"tek tek tek tek" annoying mechanism motion sound during picture shoot focussing?

The sound level is not significant but rather annoying... sad.gif

HD is using capacitive touch screen, thats why not able to support stylus... smile.gif

While Nokia N97 is using resistive type touch screen, almost can support all sort
of touching objects including your finger & finger nails... tongue.gif

QUOTE(toytoy @ Aug 27 2009, 04:07 PM)
Hehe, is it true HD cannot support stylus? only can use finger?
