Has nothing to do with angering the wrath of zeus... just clashed with the wrath of "Rules and Regulations".

It's not me. Lowyat admins had talked to Carlist more than a week back and they agreed not to approach our members, yet due to some miscommunication within their company, some members were approached to put up the banner.

p/s: bro sleepwalker, do you have any idea how much is the cheapest used any scooby turbo now?
thank you.
*
About 90-100k if you can find it. Cheapest would be the bugeye since it is the oldest of the Newage Subaru. Those having the Classic GC8s are not letting go.

wah, moon.. then hold the confirmation first.. cuz i'm looking for tires that i can swap left and right.. it seems unidirectional ones, swap front and back..
*
For ultimate grip, you have to use unidirectional. Also big fat wheels have to use unidirectional if not you will suffer aquaplanning like a speedboat on water. If you are running aggressive camber, there is no escaping from the makan inside syndrome. There is also the problem of running directional tyres because the outer tread direction gives you grip but inner thread is opposite direction and if you run aggressive camber you will be running on the treads that is in the wrong direction. When you hit water in a straight line with aggressive camber, you can be our new 'straight line drift king'.

sleepwalker;

even the eagle f1 i swap like tat wo; when it really gets makan 1 side;

if dont take out to swap left right. the thread mai become like. the other direction?

isnt re001 suppose to have like inside n outside block only?

where by f1 n 595ss; they dont have this kinda requirement for inside n outside only.

anyway; if i m going the wrong direction; please feel free to point me the correct direction sweat.gif laugh.gif

thanks tongue.gif

Yes, I forgot about asymmetical tyres. That you can't swap left and right. Since you were talking about unidirectional tyres, I was thinking along that line.

Yeah, sleepwalker.. appreciate some heads up on this issue (what tires can be cross-swapped, front-rear, left-right) because i am actually searching for tires that can be swapped left with the right and vice versa because of the inner side of the tires worn out due to negative camber..
*
There is no option. Directional threads are always like that, at least all the ones that I have seen. The outer thread forces water out, inner thread forces water in. Aggressive camber means you'd be running on the inner threads in a straight line. Great in corners, very figgity on the straight, esp in the wet.

PS: So.. the conclusion is.. get 4WD.. hahahahaha... <cabut... fast fast>

hmm.gif so uni-directional tires are not meant to be swapped left-right even by removing the tires and re-fitting them? so there is no escape with this inner worn out threads due to aggressive camber? *faint*
*
oooii.. Unidirectional tyres can. Asymetrical tyres cannot.

so.. sleepwalker; m i wrong or right? about the tires being able to swap left right up down back front is only unidirectional right; but the only thing is u have to take out the tires n reinstall them;
but tires like re001 n asymmetrical have the inside n outside block; n no matter how u cannot swap?
*
Yes, you are correct. Taking out tyres is cheap in Malaysia, so it is practiced here. Other countries where they charge you per hour jobs, then they seldom do it. On the sidewalls of asymetrical tyres, you have "Outside" / "Inside" written on it. So no matter how you take it out, you have to keep the same side on the outside and inside. Some goes to the extend of having left/right tyre only, so you have to buy 2 lefts and 2 rights and of course, cannot swap left and right.

Jenson Button still with honda right ? LOL

dont really follow F1; love it when i see them crashing

Where have you been the last few months? Honda pulled out of F1 and put the whole team up for sale. Ross Brawn former technical director of Ferrari revived the team just 4 weeks before the race. Engine changed to Mercedes but the chassis was practically developed by Honda.

Too bad Honda pulled out. I'd wonder who in Honda is going to get fired for deciding to pull out a team that could have been No.1.

You didn't understand what I was trying to say. I didn't say that it was not next month. I was trying to emphasis the fact that it is not JUST next month, it is only 6 days away from race day. Your next month makes it sound very far away.

james, eventually the sticker can be placed anywhere on the car, although its not advisable to place it on the front in that position - think of your wipers. My ZTH sticker was destroyed 2 weeks after placement XD

The only windscreen sticker that I want to do.. but of course pointing the other direction for us driving on the left side of the road.
