u guys should know that, that's not designed by apple.. some guy just took apple's mockup plans or draft, putting it all together to show what may the next gen iphone look like..

Umm.. I think that's too thin. I prefer to have more battery juices rather than thinness.

iphone 3g still relatively quite new.
its only about slightly more than half way in its PLC.
i'd give it at least till 2010 for a new model
but i'm not surprised if somewhere along june/july a 32gb model comes out.

and IMHO, i don't like the design. but there will be more renditions coming soon.

it's more probably sony comes out with something like that compared to Apple.

Based on previous experiences, a new iPhone comes out every June. Plus there are already indications if you google. The competitors are forcing it to be released as well.

only 2 iphones are out, dun make it seems like since june 2000 they are practising this

like what another forummer said, Apple might just release one with bigger memory capacity eg. 32GB while retaining most of its functions and looks.

Instead of speculating, why not wait till the final version of the iPhone 2,1 to surface?
The picture posted are mocked up and hardly any hard avidence to stand on and there's more suggested mockup pictures on the net. than what ~Rogue~ posted.

It will maintain the same front design like 1G and 2G iPhone. Maybe if they're integrating a frontal camera then it'll be smartly hidden and will be seen when in use, just like how iSight works in current MacBook and iMac.

the removable battery is something that apple wont do.

Still, be prepared for a new model. A smart company like Apple knows that it has to counter the competition every few months. This is the phone market after all.Not a car marker where new models come out every few years.

square is the new iphone??? hohohoho..... to squarish.... luv the fron cam thou... but i guess if apple going to go 3g video calls, the cam would be smaller or undetectable......

i doubt that apple will come out such powerful device with full function.. haha because apple TENT TO BE DIFFERENT IN A BAD WAY! and btw OLED screen cost a bomb!! if this phone really does exist i think can easily reach rm5k.. lol

design sucks, so not apple.

I actually like the current design very much. But if Apple can come up with something even better I don't mind. In time to come, I'm sure we'll be treated to leaked images or something.

i prefer the current design, looks more stylish compared to 'new' one.

IF apple churns out this kind of design for the next iPhone than I'm certainly going to get the Palm Pre.

Looks kinda akward to me for the design..and the removable battery slot reminds of me the old school game boy...

You guys need to learn how Apple design things. First generation iPhone and current second generation iPhone 3G have front black bezel screen and shiny silver chrome, that will stick with the third generation iPhone.

Steve Jobs visionary of battery is actually pretty good, he ease things up. Would you rather have removable battery for your iPod and spend hundreds of dollars every month just for the batteries or stick with the built in battery an save money?

Apple will not built and design the features like in the image of the first post in this thread as their products are very unique and revolutionary, they rather built something new and surprising then all of the features that customers want that is available in some rival products right now.

The N97 doesn't look too good. Even N95 is better on the eyes. Those are just my thoughts upon seeing the pictures though, not the real deal.

It's an increasing tendency that the design of a phone matters quite a lot these days. And so it will play a part in the next generation iPhone. The design might be almost 2 years, but still manages to steal glances.
