I heard that E8400 E0 is easier to overclock than C0 proc. has anyone having trouble OC'ing the E8400 C0 version one?

i own a C0 E8400, able to Prime stable, Crysis stable for few hours at
3.825Ghz (425X9) with 1.182V. it's true that you need higher Vcore for C0 stepping E8400 to OC. as for 3.6Ghz (400X9) , default Vid of mine C0 E8400 will do the OC job just fine. so to me, both of them are great overclocking gems. |

tried E0 and C0....
the E0 i got can do 4ghz stable at 1.25v while the best i could do with C0 was like 3.6ghz with stock vcore..... generally it depends on ur luck, some C0 can do even 3.8ghz stable on 1.16v on a mobo like p35-ds3 |

I'm running 3.8ghz e8400 C0 stable at 1.26v / 4.0ghz stable at 1.29v on NV750i chipset. This chipset is horrible at OC according to several reviews. But the temps are kinda high for 3.8ghz, idle 43 - 45c, load 63-65c.

my old setup tpower i45 and e8400 C0 need 1.25v for 4ghz no sweet only heat lol. But i figured mine temp sensor prob cause my e8400 C0 @ 60c feels cooler then compared to my Q6600 at 60c. Guessing how i tested it? I touched the heatsink
