Hmm, the Dell 2408WFP seems to have dropped in price again. RM1699. Still expensive, but it's a VA screen and has more inputs than the number of pimples on an average teenage employee of mcdonalds

I play rock band and ghwt on it at standard lcd calibration settings and I've not noted any significant input lag. And i use it for general pc gaming as well.

I read an article on this recently as well and there are some monitors which are especially prone to this especially when they have crappy algorithms to reduce response time.
