later i will buy the hydrapack. hehe

The Merida more worth it.
I'm using a RST-branded fork and it's sh*t. doh.gif
Already got a major leak. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(ober @ Apr 29 2009, 01:38 PM)
why not a bottle cage? you cannot simply ask ppl to remove their bottle cage. In my opinion, for xc ridings, it would be suffocation if you're doing 2 hrs of xc ride with a waterbag on ur back. it's heavy. with bottle cage down there, you don't have any weight on your body. more comfortable for xc rides. ive been there and done that. if the rides would conclude of 3-5hrs rides, a hydration bag would be suggestive. as you would be bringing some food as well.
riding in pcp with a clean look of the bike doesnt mean he's not hardcore. most probably pcp is dry.
*
Sorry bro. I didn't ask him to remove the bottle cage. sweat.gif
Actually, I believe that 2 liter (2 kg +/-) isn't too much if you're going for a 3 hour XC ride. icon_idea.gif

woohoo!
Happy Birthday dude
birthday ride bro? lol...
remote lockout eh?
first check whether did u install the remote properly, the cable tension etc...
rebound control is to control how fast or slow the fork comes back out after it had been compressed...
generally, faster + bumpy trails shud put at a somewhat faster rebound, while for casual riding or slow/technical trail should adjust the rebound slightly slower, to prevent the fork shooting you back up after you hit a rock or something lol...

Thanks for the clarification. icon_rolleyes.gif

Nope, that's not my bike haha.. I'm using Kona Jackshit platform pedals, a smaller saddlebag, and certainly no CatEyes LOL. Nice find, though I'd at least scrub the tyres clean before selling my bike..

GT bikes are fairly good, especially for beginners.. plus with their unique Triple Triangle frame design.. I'm personally using a GT Backwoods (aside from a Commencal Normal Disc and Giant XtC Team) that is about 10 years old.. even up to this year it has survived numerous trips to Kiara and a XC competition some years ago in RRI. Plus my GT frame is really light! The kind of GT you'll find nowadays in M'sia are mostly targeted to beginners such as the GT Avalanche model.
