^ agree. remote lockout mean they will have a cable attached to the right of ur shock for you to switch to lock or unlock your shock. by means stopping the rebound of your shock.
Save time by not bending ur body just to lock it, u'll just switch it from ur handlebars.

Truvativ does have that crank coming off problem, but it can be solved by putting on those white tapes around the thread before tightening it smile.gif and im using truvativ blaze. hihi.
*
Ya. me using truvativ cranks as well. Stylo crank.
it comes off due to wrong sizing on the BB adaptor.
there is a measurement for the adaptor as our frame bracket BB length is different for different manufacturer.
Solved mine using different adaptor size. No loosen crank now.

but then, it's impossible that truvativ would actually make this problem on purpose throughout the years and for all of their cranks. haha.
*
not only truvativ. even FSA carbon had tis same problem...
if u read the installation manual it clearly stated the length of BB to fit ur truvativ or FSA Carbon cranks.

Wuhooo. GOBI XM saddle. Black in color. mine will be white. It's RM380 here in M'sia

QUOTE(anderson1188 @ Apr 16 2009, 01:59 PM)
am still aiming SLX now but just to see the other options available.. tongue.gif feel that my bike needs my constant hard pedaling to get around 30kph..maybe the fork saps all my energy... sad.gif
*
stick to SLX. STYLO n SLX r in same range. better use XT. but it's rare to get an XT cranks nowadays.
The reason i'm using stylo is i cudn't buy a XT cranks

QUOTE(ober @ Apr 16 2009, 03:06 PM)
im drooling for a new saddle.

That has nothing to do with crank though a shorter crank is easier to spin. I damn regretted changing from 170mm to 175mm.

As for go fast fast....

*
Shorter crank only better for uphill climbing easier pedal. for normal straight road longer crank is way more faster than shorter ones

Depending on style... pedal hard or pedal fast. Longer crankarm more torgue mar.
I prefer to pedal fast-er these days to minimize straining muscles.
