hi im a new memeber, and just wanted to ask for some help with my iphone.
i got an iphone from a friend and he had it unlocked and ready to go, i just inserted my sim card with a rogers carrier and it worked

but then i updated the phone, and it did not accept my sim card, i could only get a wify connection using my wireless at home

then i tried to fix it, and now my iphone wont accept any sim and every time i turn it on it says "NO SIM CARD INSTALLED, INSERT A VALID SIM WITH NO PIN LOCK TO ACTIVATE IPHONE"

HELP ME PLEASE!

because u updated it and it become locked again
get the unlock software from google and unlock it back
which version u using?

if you directly update from itunes... it will be locked again... so try to unlock it first , if you want i can help you unlocked to latest version 2.2.1

Wow... ! Its amazing that you can unlock the version 2.2.1...!
Most of the guys who have accidentally upgraded to 2.2.1 have also updated the baseband to 2.30... So, how do you unlock this? Using yellowsn0w or hardware turbo-sim like solution?
