yup, but you have to add rm8 more into ur account, so basically if you apply value50 and want that extra10, you need to add rm8 for that. rate is 8sen/min call and 1  sen/sms between those 10 person...
Yesterday i saw they open a maxis postpaid package when you subscribe v50 and you will get redeem every month( for 5 months only ) rm 20, if your bill is rm60, you will only need to pay rm 40 only, and the call rate is 15cent per min for maxis to maxis and 20 cent per min from maxis to other telco.i ask them i have use the prepaid for about 6 years and they told me that is free to change to postpaid plan, and i ask them can i change it back to prepaid plain if i not very happy with postpaid and they said can..its sure can because i afraid if i change it and not very happy bout it, when i want to change they will not let me do it...sad.gif
can anyone clarify this..? thx..smile.gif notworthy.gif
*
prepaid ----> postpaid = FOC

postpaid ---> prepaid = RM30 and u need to subscribe postpaid for at least 6 months.

this is what i find out with KLCC maxis CS long time ago, not sure if the rules still applicable.

yes. ur balance will be brought forward to ur new postpaid.

i thinks urs will be slower since u went to stall, not those maxis authorised centre. they need time to run to maxis centre / authorised centre kua. haha

today i just call maxis service center and ask them bout my line, they told me they don't receive any information bout me changing into another line, so means that they still don't send my application to maxis service center.

Seems i got cheat by them bout my line will be change to postpaid in 1 day, i so disappointed with what they told me especially when they told me that i can change it into prepaid anytime i want without fee but unfortunately i have to wait for 6 month and need to pay rm30 for change fee, WTh lerrr..i got cheat by them, wasting my time going to carefour and change the line, better for me to go to maxis center and can change it on the spot....

oh i hate when they do like that to me..zzzzzzzzzzzz
when i call them just now, they were telling me that i have to wait for 2 or 3 days, yesterday when i change it they told me today morning can be use already. oh i hate it when they do like that, i know it was their marketing strategies but its like cheating people ooo... sad.gif
*
yaya. 6 months then after tht only can change and a RM30 fee. now im recalled.
now u got learnt ur lesson lol.

i prefer go to Maxis Centre. since im in KL, it's quite ok to go to KLCC maxis centre. hehe. ppl in maxis centre is able to live up to expectation.

what they said can be believe.

Maxis upbeat on new prepaid plan

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Communications Bhd hopes to enlarge its prepaid customer base of eight million with its new Hotlink 365 plan that offers prepaid validity of 365 days.

Head of consumer marketing (consumer business) Tan Lay Han said customers could now enjoy uninterrupted service over a year and there was no need to keep track of validity.

“Hotlink 365 gives customers the flexibility to make and receive calls within the period and have full control of airtime credits,” he said after the launch of the new service yesterday.

With a nominal yearly fee of RM33, customers can now keep their line active for the year. However, customers need to top up RM30 within the first six months of signing up.

The new service is also available to Hotlink's existing customers, Tan said, adding that same rates of existing prepaid plan applied to Hotlink 365.

Based on feedback from prepaid users, Hotlink came up with Hotlink 365 to cater to a segment of users that had low usage but wished to retain its mobile number, Tan said, noting that it had the lowest churn rates among the telecommunications service providers.

The new service will also cater to Hotlink's segment of migrant workers of at least three million users.

Maxis currently holds 41.7% share in the local telecommunications market with a customer base of 10 million, of which 80% are prepaid users.

On maintaining its market share after the mobile number portability kicked in, Tan said Maxis would continue to innovate its products to differentiate itself from its competitors.

FAQ (Peninsular Malaysia Version)

1. What is Hotlink 365?

Hotlink 365 is Malaysia’s first one-year active prepaid plan. For 365 validity days (one year) you won’t have to top up your account to maintain an active mobile phone line. You can SMS and make outgoing calls simply by topping up your airtime credits when you desire within this time period.

2. What does Hotlink 365 offer compared to Hotlink Plan?

Upon subscribing to Hotlink 365, you will enjoy 365 validity days instead of the standard validity days you receive from each top up made on Hotlink Plan (e.g. top up RM10 and only get 10 validity days).

3. How do I subscribe to Hotlink 365? How much will I be charged?

For new customers:
Activate a new Hotlink starter pack
Top up to ensure a minimum credit of RM33 is in your account
Dial *108*6#

Existing customers:
Top up to ensure a minimum credit of RM33 is in your account
Dial *108*6#

Note: For existing customers, please ensure that your account is active

Once your subscription is successful, a non-returnable subscription fee of RM33 will be deducted from your account.

4. If I subscribe to Hotlink 365, what will be my call and SMS rates?

Hotlink 365 gives you the best call and SMS rates similar to our current best rate plan, which is Hotlink Plan.
    Call rates
Normal With RM30 top up or more
(valid for 30days) SMS Rates
Activ10 15sen/min 15sen/min 1sen/SMS
Hotlink to same network 39sen/min 36sen/min 7sen/SMS
Hotlink to different network 49sen/min 36sen/min 15sen/SMS

5. I’m an existing Hotlink customer. If I subscribe to Hotlink 365, will I maintain my promotional free talktime/SMS/points from my current plan?

Yes. You will maintain your promotional free talktime/SMS/points from your previous plan.

6. I’ve subscribed to Hotlink 365. But after using it for 3 months, I want to switch back to my old plan or to another plan. Can I do so?

No. You cannot migrate to any other plans until your Hotlink 365 expires. Your Hotlink 365 will only expire for the following reasons:

a) Failure to fulfill the accumulated top up condition of RM30 in the first six months of the subscription
b) Failure to renew your Hotlink 365 when the 365 validity days are over.

Note: You’ll be auto-switched to Hotlink Plan when your Hotlink 365 subscription expires.

CONDITIONS

1. Is there a condition I need to meet during my subscription to Hotlink 365?

Yes. You will need to accumulate top up of RM30 or more in the first six months of your 365 validity days. (e.g. a minimum of RM5 x 6 months or RM10 x 3 months).

2. I’ve subscribed to Hotlink 365. But I did not accumulate RM30 or more top up credits in the first six months of my 365 validity days. What will happen?

If you did not fulfill the condition by Day 180, your Hotlink 365 subscription (and the remaining 180 validity days) will expire immediately. After that, you will be auto-switched to Hotlink Plan. You will then have to top up to earn your validity days (e.g. top up RM10 and get 10 validity days). You can subscribe to Hotlink 365 again by just dialing *108*6# and paying the RM33 annual fee.

RENEWAL

1. My 365 validity days are expiring soon. How can I renew it? How much will I be charged?

You will receive a renewal invitation SMS 30 days before your plan’s expiry date. Just follow the instruction to renew. Once the renewal is successful, RM33 will be deducted from your account.

2. What happens if I don’t renew the plan?

You will be auto-switched to Hotlink Plan. You will now have to top up to earn your validity days (e.g. top up RM10 and get 10 validity days). You can always subscribe to Hotlink 365 again by just dialing *108*6# and paying the RM33 annual fee.

Note : Extract from Hotlink website
*
1st. Pay Rm33 a total loss, not an airtime.
2nd. Must reload RM30 within the 1st 6 months. [ "after tht can enjoy ZERO reload for the remaining 6 months. " my personal opinion dun know correct o not. ]

the catch is, once u failed to renew ur 365days plan, u have to re-subscribe again n again pay RM33 again.

hope my summary is correct. if anything wrong, pls advise.

Pangkey, get itemised billing for your line. Check your bills. Sometimes you can't realize that you had spent so much. I was in that kinda situation before, but of course, the bill is way lower than yours. After nagging from parents, I check my online itemised billing every week to control myself. And I manage to control to use around RM30-50 one month.
*
maxis can not check itemised billing online... i hate this...

even my Happy also got show itemised billing, how could a postpaid maxis dun have this features?? i have to wait until end of statement date then only can get itemised item billing and some more charge RM5 for it.
