Any charge? Is that instant?

Nope, it is free of charge but you need to settle your outstanding payment. wink.gif That's all. smile.gif
Yes, instant, activation immediately. I got RM 10 credit from them. smile.gif

By the way, what is required for the conversion to take place? Photocopy of I.C. maybe?
*
Sorry if this reply came late. sweat.gif
OK, you just go to your nearest Maxis centre and they will do for you, filling up forms, photocopying I.C. and etc.
Just make sure you bring enough fund or credit card to settle your outstanding bill. tongue.gif

Hey guys, since I have abandoned Hotlink for good and switched to DiGi postpaid, I have RM 1.15 left in my credit. I want to transfer/share this credit with my second sister, may I know what is the code that I should enter?

you must have a minimum balance of RM5.00 i think before you can transfer credit.

My suggestion, spam 115 sms to all your good friends, telling them that you have switched to digi.

i wonder why you didn't port your number to digi
*
laugh.gif Let it burnt then. tongue.gif Actually left RM 0.15 then Hotlink gave me free RM 1.00 and now the no. already expired so can't use anymore. tongue.gif

Erm, I'm not from Klang Valley, my area has no porting service yet plus I already had this DiGi no. few months back as my secondary line. So just use it since it is also an VVIP no. smile.gif

I really abandoned Hotlink for good. sweat.gif Sorry to say this but I think I make the most right choice to move to DiGi despite 8 years with Maxis. sweat.gif

Please correct me if I'm wrong, 60-second block means once connected within 60 seconds will be same charge right? unsure.gif

If 30-second block? Sorry, I'm kinda confused with this call block thingy. rclxub.gif

oooo not that bad actually then.

i thought 1 sec also 0.33

From wat you explain means if below 30 sec and below they charge u 0.17 cents

if above 30sec they charge u 0.33 cent
*
No, he was explaining to me the meaning of 30-second block not Hotlink call rate. sweat.gif
Hotlink is RM 0.33 - 60-second block.

Didnt mention u will be charged max 33sen eventough u only called for 1sec..
*
Erm, based on 60-second block means even 1 second also will be charged.

My best friend came back from overseas for summer holidays and just bought a Hotlink SIM pack.
She keeps getting free reload, RM 5.00 sometimes RM 10.00. laugh.gif
I asked if she is an active user, she said she hardly spends her credit. Does that explain for her free reload? unsure.gif

wow.. i also juz get my hotlink less than 1 month nia.. so far, nvr receive any free reload/etc...

Well, I'm not sure though. sweat.gif

QUOTE(cucubud @ Jan 16 2009, 04:02 PM)
The trick here is to let your validity expire.
The disadvantage is you cannot make calls and sms.
After a few days (cannot confirm how many days) they will sms you some offers if you top up.
I always get "reload RM10 and get 700 sms free".
BTW, mine is a backup line. biggrin.gif
*
Yeah, the trick works.
However, my Hotlink line has officially terminated on 31.12.08. That means it is an inactive SIM card now and will be in recycle no. list. sad.gif

its only for prepaid rite, but postpaid still 30sent block...(hotlink only, not maxis)
so no diference if u topup rm30 or not?
*
There is difference. If top up more than RM 30, then it is RM 0.33, else it stays at RM 0.49. Both based on 60 seconds per block.
