Hi guys, am new to this thread. I have asked a few friends but they don't know so I think I'll just ask the gurus here.

I have a 2006 Hotlink SIM card with a very nice number 012-2626XXX. Been using the number since 2000. For some reason I switched numbers and never reload the hotlink simcard.

Can I reactivate the hotlink sim since it is still with me and the number have not been recycled yet, I tried calling the number but not in used. BTW I did register the number to my mykad when the government made it mandatory.

Correct, worst still if your plan is Total Plan, call to outstation offnet number for 5sec will get charge RM1.20 .
*
Wow... I didn't know that. I am still on the SMS plan tongue.gif

QUOTE(ozone2008 @ Feb 26 2009, 02:36 PM)
i still keep my hotlink simply because i need to sms my maxis/hotlink activ10 friends for 1sen. If they are charging 60 sec block per call, I might as well use my Celcom UOX. RM0.15 sec per-minute to any network, 30 sec block!

Stupid hotlink! vmad.gif

Correct. I am going to port to DiGi pretty soon thumbup.gif

I just called Maxis about 2 hours ago to report on the late delivery message which I have been going through every month and today it seems to be worse... I wonder if they would do anything about it.

It's actually 60 second call block. It means that if you make calls which cost you 49 cents, they will still charge you 49 cents even if you called for only a few seconds. Something like that le tongue.gif

And the worst part is when you need to contact a person urgently but he switched off his phone with voice mail activated. In this scenario, the call goes straight to voice mail and if you failed 3 times, thats RM1.50 damage to your financial resources.

You wouldn't believe that a lot of people who are on Maxis Hotlink do not know this. I successfully converted my mum to DiGi from Hotlink so she can save more. The fact that DiGi throws in free one year validity suits her good too as she doesn't make much calls.

With 60 second block, I don't think that's enticing enough.
