If the seller recommend u a card, try checking via internet to check if the card is any good. Try comparing prices also, like checking through the lowyat's pc price list to make sure that the price relatively close to expected. Could be that ur friend just wanted low budget pc so they decided to recommend what's best but as cheap as possible, so you cannot really blame em.

Same. Cause a good gaming rig doesnt come cheap at the end of the day. And honestly RM1500 can probably only help left4dead at highest setting. For the rest, u may need to settle for medium setting and such. As long ur rig can play starcraft 2 and diablo 3 should be enough lol.
