For some reason, the Becky in the movie is not as annoying as the Becky in the book -- though she was still annoying to me though. I still don't get why it's set in NY. And really, are there any American boys named Tarkie? Seriously? For the fun factor, watch out for the "tarian kipas scene", that scene alone is worth sitting through the whole movie. |

I'm a guy and I love reading her books. Weird, but true.
To me, I liked her writing style. Simple and easy to read. The books are written with wit and humor. My only complaint is that she usually kinda rushed her ending. She spents a lot of chapter building up the story, but towards the end she kinda like cramped it in a few chapters. |
